3.6% of All Battlefield 6 Matches Are Affected by Cheaters, But Devs Are Fighting Back

One of the inevitable things when it comes to online games are cheaters who ruin the fun for everyone. Regardless if there are anti-cheat measures in place, someone almost always seems to find a way to circumvent them.

It doesn't help that there are a ton of cheat providers out there looking to make a quick buck by promising these "gamers" wallhacks, aimbots and whatnot.

One recent title that has managed to fend off cheaters for the most part is Battlefield 6. But even DICE and EA still see a fair amount of cheaters, though compared to other games, it's a very small percentage that actually manage to do it.

Battlefield 6's Anti-Cheat Is Keeping Cheaters At Bay

In a new Anticheat Metrics update for January, DICE talked about the Match Infection Rate (MIR), which is the percentage of matches across the game that were negatively impacted by at least one cheater. This includes all suspected cheaters, even those individuals that DICE might not have enough evidence to prove that they're cheating in order to enforce a sanction.
