Naoki Yoshida, known as Yoshi-P, is a video game veteran. He started his career in 1998, credited on Star Soldier: Vanishing Earth, before moving on to a handful of Dragon Quest games and, finally, to Final Fantasy 14, a game he's been working on for the last 16 years.
At 53, and with such a storied career behind him, you would imagine that thoughts of retirement may have begun to creep in for Yoshi-P, but that doesn't seem to be the case, as, in a new interview, he's revealed he has no intention of stopping any time soon.
Yoshi-P was one of 52 developers to speak to Famitsu as part of the Japanese magazine's 40th anniversary issue. He joined heavyweights like NieR: Automata's Yoko Taro and Persona's Kazuhisha Wada in answering the following question: "What do you want to challenge yourself with in the future, and what message do you have for game creators?"
