Battlefield 6 Finally Makes Smart Decision, Immediately Reverses It

Players rejoiced at a long-requested change to Battlefield 6, but it was immediately undone. BF6 has a great foundation heavily influenced by fan-favorites Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4, but a few unfortunate design decisions have hampered its long-term appeal in a market now saturated with live-service alternatives. More classic maps have returned in Season 3 as Railway to Golmud and Cairo Bazaar, but a mistaken change would have surely gone over well if it actually happened.

A message recently popped up for Battlefield 6 players informing them that a key change had been made to XP Boosters. Instead of counting down in real time to their expiration as they have since launch, XP Boosters will now only count in-game time. A screenshot of the message was grabbed by Reddit user ohzilla. The change was immediately met with excitement, as XP Boosters using real time has been a common complaint, but it was short-lived.
