Sniper Elite V2 gets a remaster but the changes might be as easy to spot as a sniper in a ghillie suit.
Still and if you're desperate for sniping on the go…then Sniper Elite V2 Remastered is perhaps your only choice. Plus, it does feature all of the title's DLC. I would, however, wait for a price drop and/or enter with lowered expectations.
Mad Max gets a corporate make over in this Games Workshop themed weaponised driving game.
Over all, Rage 2 is a good game, but not worth buying if you’re already an established fan of open world games.
If you are a fan of point-and-click RPG, hilarious storytelling, or you would like to try a point and click for the first time, then you really can’t go passed this game. It is brilliantly written, carefully designed and put together; and most of all, seriously brilliant satire.
Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age is great. It was great in 2017 on the PS4. It’s greater now on the Switch. It looks amazing and the frame rate is consistent in the dock and in handheld.
A gorgeous top down survival horror game, Darkwood will draw you into it's world of evil.
It takes a certain kind of person to enjoy driving a bus for hours. This is as close to the real thing as you can get!
With the charm of retro gaming, take on the violent job of freeing hostages and eliminating bad guys.
Swords of Ditto: Mormo's Curse addresses many of the issues that plagued the original release. It also runs great on the Switch.
Days Gone offers fun open-world exploration and survival-horror gameplay elevated by a compelling post apocalypse narrative and top-notch presentation.
Overall it's a very solid packaged. Both games are fantastic in their own way and still hold up. The feature upgrades available in Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy IX are nowhere to be found when they would have been most welcome. Considering the upcoming Final Fantasy XII remaster also contains these features makes this package stand out all the more. It is also a steep price point. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster may include two full games, but charging $80 seems a little ridiculous. Despite this it still comes highly recommended. Maybe just wait for a sale first.
All things said and done Fade to Silence is not a game that will inspire you to keep playing it. There are just too many issues with graphics, control and hit box contacts. It looks and feels clunky, and I am not sure it can be saved with a patch any time soon. Sadly I would suggest that eventually this game will do what its title suggests; Fade to Silence.
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, the 2012 RPG classic, has been ported to the Nintendo Switch to great success.
A brilliant spin off of a amazing movie. Teamwork, cooperation and zombies!
Must-play for fans and newcomers looking for an in-depth fighting game with shamelessly over-the-top violence, time-travelling shenanigans, and creative ways to beat foes to a bloody pulp.
A great puzzling platform game that works perfectly either handheld or on the big screen with a bevy of levels that represent great value
That all being said, what a wonderful first release from Salix Games. It may not have been overly hard to play, perhaps missing a few more side missions or puzzles and need refining of a few technical issues but it was a joy to play especially with the intriguing twist to finish the game. For any fans of historical games or point and click adventures, I'm sure you will enjoy this game as much as I did and I genuinely look forward to what they will release in the future.
All in all, this game was quite fun to play and discover the secrets of the ancient language. I enjoyed the freedom of choice and the flow-on effects of those choices. This is a game for anyone who is interested in adventure games – it definitely would appeal to a wide-range of players.
Although GIGA WRECKER ALT might not be everyone's cup of tea, any gamer who loves the challenge of a good puzzle will not be disappointed by everything that this marvellous new indie game brings to the table.
