Tarahumara mythology is fascinating—just the break I needed away from the Skyrims and World of Warcrafts of the fantasy genre. I might never have learned about the Tarahumara and listened to an indigenous language for the first time. But, Mulaka stretches a bit too long for my taste.
There are some unfortunate glitches that really hurt the ability to enjoy the atmosphere the game is trying to create. This doesn’t change the fact though that it is still a game worth checking out.
I would recommend Far Cry 5 once the price drops. To anyone who wants to have a good stupid time, go ahead and get the game, but be prepared for it’s irritating design choices.
Monster Hunter World has laid the foundation for a global phenomenon and I cannot wait to see what happens from here on out.
For the majority of the sequel’s playtime, I’d say it’s a real step-up from the first game. Fans of the series ought to do themselves a favor and experience this gory tale for themselves.
Without a central idea to fall back on, Past Cure is just an unorganized mess.
As a Free-To-Play game, Closers is surprisingly generous to players. Costumes, an elite status buff which confers a daily reward of crafting materials and a fatigue reduction potion, some additional inventory slots, extra crafting materials, and temporary buffs are all purchasable from the store for real money; but are also given away daily from the online store.
Offering a classic arcade mode, and a story mode, Wulverblade has a little something for gamers of all types. Add in the educational bits as well as incredible sound design and you have a wonderful game wrapped up in a nice neat, bloody package.
Teslagrad has a ton of fans and the hero has even become an icon of the indie scene, yet I don’t believe that World to the West will reach those heights, not even close.
Overall, the first season of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is a decent start to the episodic series, but there is a lot of room for improvement.
The Red Strings Club uses every cybyerpunk trope—implants, sentient androids, all-powerful corporations—in ways that are meaningful.
Is it just more Assassin’s Creed: Origins? Well yes, it is, but I’m completely okay with it. Considering the expansion is $10, I don’t see any reason for a fan of Origins to skip out on this.
If you missed the original Kinect: Disneyland Adventures, this is a decent port. It’s a fun game that all ages will be able to enjoy even with its graphical flaws across the Xbox One family of consoles.
What FTSOC offers, principally, is perhaps the best video game look at the China-Burma-India theatre ever done. That’s a low bar to clear, admittedly, but one that should be appreciated by fans of aviation games with access to either an Xbox One or a decent gaming PC.
A New Challenger Approaches and its name is Dragon Ball FighterZ. Bandai Namco and Arc System Works have delivered something astounding and I know that myself and the FGC are excited to bear witness of what’s to come in this game’s life cycle.
Ultimately, for those who prefer story to collecting better weapons, there isn’t a big enough incentive to keep progressing through the challenges.
Those looking for a unique challenge and that have a group of friends willing to pick it up as well could find themselves with hours upon hours of laughs.
Hell is Empty was satisfying in the sense that it delivered something out of the pages of a crime drama, but as far as keeping continuity with itself and with the original game, the episode left much to be desired. These first two episodes leave such a strong emotional resonance that stick around long after they end and, unfortunately, episode three isn't on par.
Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is a fun game that builds on previous design aesthetics and gameplay. If you are a fan of Lego games, and were a fan of Lego Marvel Super Heroes you will enjoy this game. It’s humorous, action-packed, and filled with more Marvel Super Heroes than the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War movie.
Last Recode in my opinion is worth trying out and I do hope that Namco Bandai consider doing something similar for the first series, as those too are extremely expensive and were never released digitally.
