Terminator Resistance is a mediocre game. This shooter just isn’t satisfying enough to recommend a buy. It has its fun moments and treats the source material well. But if you’re looking for a fun first-person shooter, you’d best look elsewhere. Terminator Resistance is definitely one for the long-time fans. Overall it feels like this game could’ve been better than it was.

Overall, the game has beautiful graphics and aesthetics but it’s not enough to save the game from the monotony of its gameplay. I wouldn’t go as far as saying that it’s unplayable but it’s that kind of game where you just want to play it once and check what it’s all about and then forget about it to move on to the next game.

5 / 10.0 - Tempest Citadel
Apr 24, 2018

Pick it up if you want to read a story with sci-fi and fantasy elements that mesh well together and if you don’t mind having to read a lot of lore. Otherwise, better save your money for another game.

Ultimately, Secret of Mana is a letdown that the series doesn’t deserve, and nor does its fans. The remake has lost some of the charm that made the original have such a cult following since 1993, due to its bland transition into 3D and certain gameplay mishaps. The experience isn’t entirely for naught, but it’s sure to rub some fans the wrong way. For newcomers, it’s best to steer clear and stick with the classic version, especially for the steep asking price of $39.99. Perhaps it’s best to keep the remake a secret and pretend it didn’t happen.

5 / 10.0 - InnerSpace
Feb 12, 2018

Overall, InnerSpace is a tough sell. It’s certainly not a unique game among its contemporaries and doesn’t even attempt much to try and differentiate itself. It does accomplish certain aspects of what it offers you, where it can be a tranquil and slow-paced ride, with an appropriate presentation that is pretty to look at. Its merits, however don’t out way its faults and can lead to a frustrating experience when looking at the whole package. InnerSpace doesn’t quite soar to the heights it needs to be a good game.

Overall, the collection contains some of the best story-telling in video games, even if you lump in the third season. However, this collection should only be purchased by those who have missed out on the series entirely. It has upgraded visuals and serves a single hub for all you fans looking to take your first steps in the post-apocalyptic world known as The Walking Dead. It's a collection of great adventure games, but isn't necessarily a great collection.

5 / 10.0 - Windjammers
Sep 9, 2017

Overall, Windjammers is a fun and tight experience. It’s gameplay is tight and precise, while adding supers into the mix, which give it that extra spice for a fun time. Not only that, but it has great visuals, upbeat music, and a lovable 90’s aesthetic to boot. If only it were a little cheaper, so as to ease the sting of having something that won’t capture your playtime for very long.

5 / 10.0 - Theseus
Jul 27, 2017

Overall, Theseus for me is underdeveloped, the lack of storytelling, combat is boring, enemies are unforgettable, protagonist is also unforgettable, short gameplay and bad visuals.

5 / 10.0 - Everything
May 20, 2017

Everything is not an experience for everyone. Considering how trippy and weird the game is, I guess the most enjoyment you are going to have with this game is when playing it with friends while drunk or high.

If you're a hardcore fan and wish to catch up on the story of the Darksiders series before the third game comes out, I'd say you can skip the first game entirely and just watch a YouTube video instead. Do, however, pickup Darksiders II: The Deathfinitive Edition, since all gameplay concerns are absolutely addressed in the sequel. Plus, Death as a character is a lot cooler than War.

5 / 10.0 - My Night Job
May 22, 2016

Overall I rate the game a 5, not because the game wasn’t fun which it is but because this is a game that is clearly more at home as a mobile title rather than a console title. As a console title, it feels lacking and weak. If it was a mobile game I’d score the game a solid 7.

5 / 10.0 - Shadwen
Jun 13, 2016

Shadwen tries too hard to be more interesting by adding in more gimmicks, but because of how they didn’t really work well together to make a cohesive stealth experience, and are mired with how badly they were implemented, the game itself just ends up feeling like an incoherent mess. The game has potential, but it fails to live up to any of the features it tries to advertise. So many other games do it’s individual gimmicks better so you’re better off playing them since Shadwen does not do a very good job of combining said gimmicks together.

5 / 10.0 - Neon Chrome
Jun 24, 2016

All in all, it’s great and on-point without being too one-dimensional. That feeling this game gives to the players every time they discover something new, may it be cash from slain enemies or secret rooms to further progress through the game’s level, makes them want to stay immersed for hours on end. Though minor flaws are inevitable, at the end of it all Neon Chrome can and will still give you your money’s worth once you start playing. ‘Nuff said.

Time and time and again even after frustration I kept going back to give the game a chance. And each time I come out just frustrated. My recommendation? Wait a few months for Warhorse Studios to fix everything before buying it. You’re just gonna be turned away from the game. Even then, be prepared for a massive patch to download.

Overall, One Piece Unlimited World Red is a game that on a surface level is great because of the fan-service it provides, however, falls flat once you sink your teeth into it. You’ll be taken back to numerous events throughout the One Piece series and the game definitely hooks you in for the nostalgia. From Luffy kicking Captain Wapol’s ass to saving Robin from the Marine government, the game definitely delivers on reliving classic stories. Sadly the fan-service isn’t enough to make the game great, and I’d advise to stick to the Manga or Anime to get your fill of seeing the Straw Hat crew find the ever elusive One Piece.

5.2 / 10.0 - WWE 2K18
Oct 21, 2017

The game has so many things going for it however maybe there were just too many things which made it problematic in their individual parts. It’s ideas are great but execution leaves so much to be desired. Outside of the roster and the old championship titles, there isn’t much of an experience in the new WWE game. The game could’ve been the best in the series but even the WWE game in 2003 was a lot more fun and action pumping than this. It makes me just want to hook up my PS2 again and look for my old wrestling games.

There isn’t much interactivity to be found here as you’re mostly going along for a ride. You will go through a lot of long long stretches with little to do other than watching the story unfold. Eventually, the gameplay does slow down at times, but it’s clear that you are picking up this game for the story. If you are a fan of Suda51’s work, you may want this for your collection. This title has a similar feel to others like Killer7 and No More Heroes. You can also get this if you’re are a fan of Visual Novels with a good murder mystery with bits of puzzle solving added in for good measure. Just remember that this game is definitely not for everyone.

5.5 / 10.0 - Dolmen
May 30, 2022

Overall, Dolmen is a hastily assembled mess of a well-intentioned game. It is like a wannabe sports car. No matter how pretty it looks on the outside, if it’s running on a 2-cylinder engine underneath the hood, there are going to be awkward looks all around. But in the end, it’s going to depend on your millage. As much as I dislike the all-style, no substance presentation, I have to admit that some of the features are actually quite enjoyable. It may look pretty from afar. But its style over substance approach is what ultimately dulls the experience of this otherwise decent soul-like shooter.

5.5 / 10.0 - Music Racer
Feb 28, 2022

Overall, Music Racer Ultimate is just an average game, but as a rhythm game, it depends mostly on the player whether or not they want to try something different from the indie scene. From my point of view, the game feels lacking and will need a huge amount of improvement to appeal to a larger audience.

5.5 / 10.0 - Biomutant
May 24, 2021

I name-dropped and compared quite a few games to Biomutant in this review and it is because Experiment 101 has clearly taken influences from so many games and attempted to incorporate it all into Biomutant. However, in the pursuit of taking so many concepts and creating something unique, Biomutant winds up feeling derivative and dated. It never does anything exceedingly well but also never does anything terribly bad, it simply exists in the middle and its biggest success is being an average game with a good combat system.
