Doom meets the roguelike genre and the result is a very fine game, proving that the demonic invasions and sci-fi atmosphere of id Software's masterpiece can work wonders even with a totally different gameplay.

The Forgotten City may not be an entirely new game, being an adaptation of one of the most renowned Skyrim mods, but it's still a very intriguing narrative adventure that can entice players with its writing and original story premise.

A nice DLC that adds new zones and activities, but lacks a bit more of farming simulation features.

Pokémon Unite is a fun and carefree MOBA, at least until you realize how much time you have to spend accumulating resources to upgrade your characters without spending money. The premises are good, despite the fact that it is a game that risks very little: it will be the long-term strategies that will determine the goodness of the project and, of course, its success.

Blightbound is a decent multiplayer dungeon crawler, which expresses its full potential only if you have a group of friends to play with.

Vesper is a little gem. On an old-fashioned (but functional) gameplay Cordens Interactive builds a work of art with great authorial value. Simple but effective puzzles and a well-constructed environmental storytelling pair with stunning art design and great sound design. Sadly stealth and puzzles are both a little too simple: it never deepens its mechanics. Knowing you don't have to expect a challenging game, it's one of the few, beautiful, Italian productions. And that's enough. Highly recommended.

The Ascent is a true homage to the classic top-down shooter genre that adds some modern features without disrespecting its main inspirations.

Funny, smart, totally friendly even with the most delicate stomachs. Arcsmith offers a cerebral and relaxed pastime at the same time. Recommended for all those who are not allergic to puzzles.

A game with some interesting ideas and concepts, that sometimes manage to provide meaningful content to the players but are too often obscure by the deeply repetitive nature of gameplay and quest design.

Rich in content and with an excellent artistic direction, Samurai Warriors 5 is aimed at a specific group of fans, but does not disdain to tickle the newbies.

Night Book is lost in the magnum sea of similar productions and you have plenty of titles to play before jumping on the unfortunate protagonist and her cursed book.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is an HD collection of 3DS titles never released before in the West that tries to reiterate the beloved Ace Attorney formula with an historical-drama flavour. Characters and settings are fleshed out in a brilliant way and yet the gameplay feels too familiar for its own good.

Microsoft Flight Simulator lands on Xbox with a great porting that, despite a few flaws and a painful UI, recreates the same, magical simulation experience that PC users has enjoyed in the past year, thanks to a great (but not perfect) controller adaptation of the main mechanics and the same additional contents provided in the last few months on PC by Asobo Studio.

Neo: The World Ends With You is the widely anticipated sequel of a cult Nintendo DS title and one of the best Action RPGs available on current platforms. Building on its predecessor formula, this sequel introduces a wide variety of content that while being faithful to the original game exceeds it in every aspect. Fans should rejoice: Shibuya is back to stay!

With three heartfelt stories about the meaning of the relationships framed in A Twilight Zone atmosphere, Last Stop is an ambitious interactive comedy-drama which succeeds to deliver its message, even if sometimes at the expense of gameplay experience.

An Action RPG full of passion that focuses on simplicity and, for this reason, it is incredibly solid. Level design, attention to detail, art style and soundtrack deserve just applause. Ok, it throws you in an huge labirint without any map, but it can be even a good thing.

A nice tribute to the JRPG with a personality all its own and a beautiful story, which however lacks depth and fails to give the right weight to its most peculiar mechanics.

A nice turn-based tactical game, simple to understand but hard to master, set in the ever-fascinating Warhammer 40.000 universe. The experience is fun, but just two armies and one campaign don't fully justify the relatively steep price.

Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline is a shallow narrative expansion, with a good storyline undermined by a lazy structure and the choice of giving far less importance to London, which was the best element of the original game.
