Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are not the best games of the series nor the bravest, but they strongly respect the original games and the ones who played them, and they do everything they can to show that.

The compilation isn't the most beautiful or detailed addition to the series, but it plays the smoothest. If you're prepared to overlook, or at least work around, the faults, GTA The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is well worth considering.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is a true nostalgia operation, a perfectly successful tribute to the films of the saga created by Crichton and a joy for those who as a child spent hours and hours admiring dinosaurs in books. Unfortunately, the merits of the Frontier management system stop here, because if you analyze the individual elements of the gameplay you soon realize the limits imposed by a game loop that runs out quickly and in which you have to intervene too frequently due to an intrusive micromanagement that breaks the flow.

Football Manager 2022 marks a slow transition to a better game, and the third and final version next year promises to be even more exciting. This is is as good as always, but the new elements are less than we would have liked.

Vaas DLC is a more of the same that fails to deliver something new to the well known Far Cry formula.

Way better than Devil's Daughter, Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One has a captivating focus on Sherlock himself, but the open world feels there just for the sake of it.

Despite an immense amount of content, Call of Duty: Vanguard feels a bit like a step back for the franchise: a couple of guns need to find a better balance with the upcoming updates and the campaign is fascinating but extremely short and unripe. The game is genuinely fun, of course, but it's not the best Call of Duty to date.

If you are a long-time fan of Papa Smurf and his little friends, you will surely enjoy this. The game is pretty far from perfect and shows some hiccups on Nintendo Switch, but it's fun enough to achieve what he wanted: to entertain the younger players with a cartoonish and colorful adventure.

Shin Megami Tensei successfully builds over the third entry in the franchise, upping the ante with a great combat system and more freedom to explore. One of the best JRPGs in the last few years and a great exclusive for the Nintendo Switch.

Despite not having a concept that we could define as original, Riders Republic manages to capture the player in a loop made of one race after another that entertains and works. Merit of the three main disciplines that give variety to the game, of suggestive scenarios, and of a gameplay suitable for everyone that you can master right away. With little understandable naivety from the point of view of cosmetic content, and a camera that occasionally makes a fuss, Riders Republic is a sports video game that, for quality and quantity of content, certainly stands out in the current landscape.

Voice of Cards mixed JRPG's and board games' elements to offer a fun pretty unique experience. It is improvable in and far from perfect, but its originality and world deserve appreciation.
