Just like plenty of other Alien game developers, Survios tries to chase that Xenomorph dragon that has only been caught by a select few. Even though Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition theoretically ticks quite a few boxes to ensure success, it unfortunately fails in delivering a truly thrilling Alien experience, mostly caused by poor enemy A.I. and lackluster gunplay. If you're a die-hard Alien fan who's only looking for a reason to keep shooting at ammo absorbing but frankly docile Xeno's, there's some fun to be had. Otherwise, I'd advise you to skip this expedition.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles delivers its gripping tale of intrigue, politics, betrayal, loss, and friendship with full Japanese and English voice acting, enhanced HD visuals (though not in 2.5D pixel art), quality-of-life upgrades, a deep yet demanding Job System, generally challenging battles with especially punishing final bosses, and the option to play the original version—though it’s unfortunate that not all available content was included for greater replay value.

Though set in Japan, Silent Hill f more than earns the name: over about twelve hours it delivers the franchise’s hallmark mix of metaphor-rich storytelling, sometimes opaque puzzles, and brutally unsettling scenarios that invite reflection—so while purists may balk at the setting change, open-minded players will likely find their doubts quickly fade.

Arctic Awakening delivers a short, atmospheric mystery: as a walking simulator you trek through gorgeous, music-driven landscapes, engage in thoughtful exchanges with Alfie, scavenge food and tools (with even “useless” items aiding Kai), and make choices that shape the ending—held back only by slightly clunky first-person climbing and minor bugs/clipping.

Henry Halfhead isn’t a game you buy for deep mechanics, an expansive story, or long hours—it’s short and very simple—but if you’re open to its wry cynicism and almost poetic view of life, it delivers a distinctive, brief, meaningful reminder that play, curiosity, and imagination matter even in adulthood.

No, I'm not a Human cleverly holds up a social mirror, turning your own paranoia, bias, and human flaws into the game’s sharpest weapon - though its impactful message risks being undercut by frustrating technical setbacks.

Lost Soul Aside, the debut title from the China Hero Project, delivers a decent action experience with enjoyable combat, fluid combos, and some replay value through modes and weapon variety, but its unremarkable story, weak voice acting, and lack of real challenge keep it from standing out as more than a passably fun game.

Though Drag x Drive smartly uses wheelchair basketball to showcase the Nintendo Switch 2’s mouse feature—matching the motions and spotlighting an underrepresented sport—its drab palette, scant content, and fleeting novelty keep it from rising above gimmick status and make it easy to tire of.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land gets an expansion on the Nintendo Switch 2 with The Star World, but the heavy reuse of old levels, short runtime, and lack of originality make it feel more like a polished repackage than a true new adventure, appealing mainly to die-hard Kirby fans.

Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is a Norse-myth roguelike bullet hell with varied classes, distinctive maps, and satisfying bosses, but thin long-term progression and weak tracking/unlocks sap its staying power. The fun is in short bursts rather than long grinds.
