Clue: Murder by Death oozes charm and nails the whodunnit vibe but the bloated mansion, limited inventory, and forced repetition drag the experience down.

Demon Tides is a solid but sometimes frustrating platformer with fun collectibles and strong ghost races, though its movement, level design, and humor don’t always land.

LOVE ETERNAL surprises with its simplicity: two buttons, one core mechanic, tight and responsive precision platforming, a challenging but fair difficulty curve, and a strong, stylish presentation with a surreal, melancholic tone—no classic horror scares, but an eerie, artsy experience that’s a clear recommendation for fans of demanding platformers, though not for everyone.

Although Styx: Blades of Greed starts slowly and has some big technical flaws, its excellent vertical map design, satisfying stealth, and meaningful gameplay improvements ultimately make it an enjoyable adventure.

Ys X: Proud Nordics is a great pick for newcomers seeking a solid JRPG with an entertaining story and flashy combat in its most complete form, but for returning players the added content doesn’t justify the full price and feels like it should have been inexpensive DLC.

God of War Sons of Sparta is a great God of War origin game, but just an okay Metroidvania.

High On Life 2 is bigger, louder and completely unhinged - it's the perfect sequel.

REANIMAL is a dark, unforgettable horror experience that showcases Tarsier Studios at their best, even if familiar frustrations and a steep price for its short runtime remain, making it an unleashed beast worth embracing if you can accept those flaws.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect X is a fantastic and highly addictive action roguelike with smooth, responsive gameplay, great build variety through its skill-inheritance system, striking but sometimes overly busy visuals, a forgettable techno-babble story, and a rock-solid focus on what really matters: excellent gameplay.

Romeo, oh Romeo. Romeo Is a Dead Man is a bizarre, stylish delight from Suda51 that blends smooth but occasionally stiff action with deep upgrade systems, twisted Bastard customization, and an utterly unhinged Romeo and Juliet reimagining that feels like Shakespeare, George Lucas, Quentin Tarantino, M.C. Escher, and—controversially—Justin Roiland all dropped acid together.

Although RIDE 6 is worth watching for true racing enthusiasts, Milestone delivers too little innovation to create a real sense of urgency to play, offering only marginal improvements—especially in the still-underwhelming Career Mode—despite providing an accessible racing experience for players of all skill levels.

Story-wise Yakuza Kiwami 3 brings little that is new, but its improved presentation, welcome side content—especially the character-building Morning Glory moments—and the added value of Dark Ties make it a solid remake with better visuals and tighter gameplay that’s highly recommended for newcomers who enjoyed Kiwami 1 and 2, though it likely won’t change the minds of those who disliked the original.

Mewgenics is a deep and sometimes merciless game that hides strong tactical combat, huge amounts of content and an addictive roguelike, turn-based loop behind its silly look, occasionally frustrating due to RNG and predictability, but hard to put down and well worth it for players who enjoy deep systems and dark, strange humor.

Nioh 3 is a strong addition to the franchise, offering an engaging story, deep combat, and a rewarding open-field design that invites constant exploration, and despite occasionally being too easy and not fully showcasing the PlayStation 5’s graphical potential, it delivers a smooth, immersive action-RPG experience.

Fanservice is clearly where My Hero Academia: All’s Justice shines, and even as a casual enjoyer rather than a hardcore fan I loved recognizing elements from the anime alongside fun original content, but viewed purely as a game it remains solid yet flawed, with middling visuals, some rough edges in the controls, and noticeable balance issues between characters, making it a must-play for diehard fans while others may want to wait for a price drop.

Dragon Quest VII returns as a charming, better-paced JRPG with refreshed combat and visuals that stay true to the original, and while clunky menus, weaker story beats, and excessive text can frustrate, they don’t detract too much from an otherwise delightful and content-rich adventure.

Cairn is a bold, demanding climbing game whose intense sense of freedom and atmosphere leave a strong impression, but whose unforgiving design, technical issues, and sometimes frustrating controls make it best suited for players who enjoy slow, challenging simulations rather than fast-paced action.

Don’t Stop, Girlypop! is a bold, unapologetic game with a clear vision, blending fast movement, surprisingly deep combat, and an extreme Y2K aesthetic into a shooter that won’t be for everyone—but for those who embrace the chaos and the 2000s energy, it delivers far more depth than expected while succeeding precisely because it refuses to take itself too seriously.
