Agatha Christie - Murder on the Orient Express [...] faithfully follows the book it's based and, at the same time, alters— in a very natural way, it's worth pointing out — some elements to make it an adventure worthy of being a XXI century mystery. Besides, the addition of a new character to dive into a case that, in the book, is only mentioned briefly, is a great gift for the fans of the Queen of Crime, not to mention the brand new mystery centered on Joanna Locke herself that is a postgame campaign.

Wargroove 2 is a great example of strategic games. With a simple base, plenty of content and the option to play in Portuguese, the title is an easy recommendation for fans of the genre who want to dive into a new strategic journey.

Detective Pikachu Returns isn't among the best adventure games, but it presents a solid experience especially designed for newcomers to the genre. Despite some mistakes, fans of the original title will really like the new experience, which manages to have a consistent evolution in relation to its predecessor.

Fate/Samurai Remnant, although it is a victim of the Switch's technical performance, is another excellent RPG recently added to the console's library. With a dense narrative that lives up to Type-Moon's renowned franchise, combined with different systems that enrich the combat and exploration of a reimagined feudal Japan, we have an adventure that both regular Fate fans and newcomers can enjoy without fear.

Knight vs Giant: The Broken Excalibur doesn't get to be a discardable game. It delivers good roguelite moments in an interesting reimagination of the saga of King Arthur and the Round Table Knights, but after a few hours of gameplay, I could not avoid missing the excellency of Hades and to wish I had its sequel in my hands. That's not exactly the reaction we expect when we get a new game.

Venba is an adventure that seeks to value the simple habits passed from one generation to the next. The title is especially suitable for those who want a touching and short experience. However, its short duration also leads to the feeling that it could do a little more with its narrative and mechanics.

Baten Kaitos I & II Remaster arrives as the ideal way to experience these two classics in 2023. After almost two decades trapped in the Nintendo GameCube, it is finally possible to experience all the strangeness and creativity that this dormant franchise has to offer. Both titles show their age at times, in addition to having their own specific flaws, but it is undeniable that this collection brings the right improvements for RPG fans and the curious to enjoy these adventures anywhere with the Switch.

Pizza Possum is that little game that you start and finish in the same day, a typical arcade experience. It most likely won't leave an eternal mark on your history with video games, but it will be a lot of fun quickly if you enjoy basic stealth. Those who had contact with the Mega Drive/Sega Genesis may remember Bonanza Bros., a classic masterpiece of the genre (which could even appear on Switch Online, right), and who knows, maybe a wave of nostalgia will come? But that doesn't mean that others have nothing to enjoy here, as even aficionados of achievements and collectibles were covered. In short: it's hide and seek for everyone!

The diverse modes of the multiplayer battle to enjoy and the infinity of customization options obtained through the in-game coins make Super Bomberman R 2 an excellent choice to spend hours upon hours competing with friends and strangers and unlocking the shop options. Though, despite the additions, the campaign is monotonous and tedious like the first game and Castle modes is much worse than other modes, for those who don't appreciate them, they can be ignored without being a big loss.

The Pale Beyond is an immersive experience about the effort for a crew to survive on the ice. With an instigating narrative and a gameplay that constantly puts the player's skills to the test, it's an excellent choice for those looking for a serious limited resources management game that at the same time offers a touching experience about people.

Solar Ash is a worthy adventure platformer. Its movement mechanic is the main responsible for the agile and fun gameplay that permeates exploration and combat in yet another Heart Machine hit, as the company managed to make the transition to 3D. It's natural that some issues arise, as no game is perfect, but the Switch version is yet another port that suffers with inferior graphic quality and framerate drops. Fortunately, they do not completely invalidate the experience but a part of the chaotic beauty of the Ultravoid is lost in its sacrifices.

Before the Night offers a curious experience that challenges our perceptions and questions our relationship with animals. It's a unique and intriguing journey that, despite a few blunders in the gameplay, is worth exploring for any players looking for a compelling and provocative narrative.

Amanda the Adventurer is a welcome indie addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue, with a compelling narrative and intriguing puzzles. It challenges the conventions of what we see more commonly in the genre, opting for a psychological, narrative horror instead of a more "physical" approach to scares. Unlocking multiple endings turns the game more attractive but the details of the plot usually being too hidden may hinder the experience. Finally, it's necessary to remember that, despite all its merits, this title may not be for everyone, especially [not indicated] for players who prefer action and concrete threats.

Exploring dungeons, creating items and facing enemies proves to be an addictive and fun cycle in Silent Hope. Despite the lack of boldness in bringing more content, especially with regard to the post-game, the game remains an attractive option for action RPG enthusiasts, with a special touch for fans of Marvelous' farm franchises.

Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless marks the triumphant return of the series, responding to the previous critics and restauring the strategic balance. The compelling narrative in Hinomoto explores the conflict between the bushido code and the Demmodore Opener tyranny while the protagonists try to reflect about their own roles and those of their companions during the journey. The character customization, new battle mechanics and secondary activities on the maps make the experience richer, though performance issues on the Switch version may be an obstacle to consider. Generally speaking, this is a solid return for the fans of the series and other players looking for lasting fun and a lot of grinding.

Horizon Chase 2 is the evolution that the franchise deserved. The sequel features visuals with more elaborate effects, successfully implements online multiplayer that the original did not have and improves vehicle configuration with better use of coins earned in races. Looking forward to the next projects from the Brazilians at Aquiris.

Gunbrella shows that umbrellas can be as lethal as they are fun, at least in a dark virtual world where shoot first and ask questions later is very effective. Violent, stylish and thought-provoking, here's a short but well-worth journey on Switch.

Fans of the Queen of Crime can once again incorporate an inexperienced Poirot in Agatha Christie: Hercule Poirot - The London Case, a new story that lives up to the british writer's narrative style. Even though there are a few blunders here and there, especially [when it comes to] the performance, players looking for an excellent mystery plot will find this to be an excellent adventure able to captivate for hours on end without getting tiresome.

Mugen Souls Z represents a notable evolution from its predecessor with various novelties and upgrades that turn it into a notably distinct and superior experience compared to the first game. With a simple plot centered on humor, it may not be an ideal choice for those looking for a dense narrative. However, for players who are satisfied with a solid combat system, it offers the full plate with almost unlimited character customization and improvement possibilities.
