As a compilation, the Switch edition is an excellent way to enjoy the game.

SaGa Frontier Remastered is a definitive edition of the classic PS1 RPG. Made with great care, it manages not only to present small graphical improvements but also to add relevant content. Looking at the whole, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion scores many points for its creativity, which oozes humor with its characters, situations and dialogues. These circumstances, coupled with beautiful visuals and interesting challenges, generate an extremely kind journey, which enchants even with the very short expiration date. So, evading taxes and tearing up declarations are activities so fun that they make me recommend them.

Touhou Hyouibana ~ Antinomy of Common Flowers can be considered one of the best official fighting games in the franchise, even if it lacks some important aspects. As much as it does not have any innovation for the genre, it has a very solid presentation and easy and simple gameplay, making it a good title for both veterans and novices. Without giving up the elements that make Touhou a highlight within the shoot 'em up genre, Antinomy of Common Flowers may even be the gateway to the franchise for consoles - and for the West as a whole.

The release of Shantae for the Switch is the definitive way to play this underrated gem, with a few extras to add to the experience. It is an impressive game by the standards of the time and it is still really fun to play it on the Switch in 2021. Its look, especially with the improvements of the GBA version, has not been dated and the few problems do not affect the great adventure.

Inspiration in Donkey Kong Country, however, is almost a copy, which was not made with the same quality. Fez has a unique and visionary aesthetic, after all it is not trivial to unite the concept of Ueda with a visual style of the 8-bit era and that can be, at the same time, charismatic and profound; as well as mysterious and humorous. Fez's problems are few, probably the most serious of them being the fact that it is not very challenging: it is very easy to inductively solve the puzzles, and the real challenge is to find the hidden anti-cubes, but they are optional.

Cozy Grove manages to deliver an experience that captures you with the simplest elements. It may even be that some foods have no apparent function or that the missions get boring, but the game brings together the basic elements of simulation that give the cozy aspect that it wants to provide. Unfortunately, the mobile focus of the game and the lack of zeal in several aspects weigh heavily on the scale for the experience to be worthwhile on the Switch, so maybe you will have more fun on a smartphone.

Stick Fight: The Game is very good at everything it does, but it could go a little further. The absence of a singleplayer mode and more customization options, gradually diminish interest. However, despite the repetition and little incentive for a continuous sequence of matches, the game is a perfect companion for that moment when you want to challenge the family to a fast and fun fight. After all, being casual does not mean being simple, and that title shows it very well.

Lost Words: Beyond the Page is strongly recommended to anyone who wants to see something a little "out of the box", with a high artistic content, or who is more willing to enjoy the game gradually, while instead of playing it all at once. The game's art direction alone makes this a unique experience and the way the narrative scenes were articulated will certainly serve as a future reference for new titles. The problems are practically insignificant when compared to the length and refinement of the title, which has a high replay factor, even more if we consider that it is in its Complete Edition. Unlike what it preaches, Balan Wonderworld made me sad after finishing it. Sad not because I had a bad experience, but because of the opportunity missed by Yuji Naka, Naoto Ohshima and their team. It is clear that the developers had passion for the project. After all, nobody would make such a creative story, with very well produced cutscenes and great soundtrack, if they didn't care about their work.However, the way in which this project was carried out leaves much to be desired. Lack of explanation of the narrative and in-game mechanics, slow and confusing controls and gameplay, repetitive combat, poor stage design and performance problems make this visit to Balan Theatre one of those difficult to endure.
