Monster Crown is more than just a copy of Pokémon. It is a game with a lot of personality, mainly due to its reproduction mechanics and its many charismatic monsters. However, its gameplay becomes tiresome due to its difficult to navigate menus and unintuitive combat. The map, although large, does not encourage exploration and makes things uninteresting. All in all, it's a worthwhile experience for Pokémon fans and, with future updates, it has everything to improve and become a remarkable title.

It's curious to see how well the franchises fit in Neptunia vs. SENRAN KAGURA: Ninja Wars, as originally they didn't have many elements in common, except for the emphasis on the girls' physical attributes. Even with differences in tone, and even in the aesthetics of the two universes, the final product is a fun action game and - of course - with a lot of fanservice. Despite the convoluted script that could delve a little deeper into the characters, it is a product suitable for fans, which is sustained by the combat action and the charisma.

Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles is an absolutely unmissable game for anime fans, who will relive exciting moments of the saga. I believe it also has the potential to please those who have never followed the animation, due to its very consistent campaign mode. The fighting system is extremely satisfying, simple in its mechanics, friendly to novices, and fun to veterans. It is a fighting game more casual than competitive, very well done and focused on the player experience.

Dungeon Deathball is an agile and unique interpretation of turn-based strategy games. It's exciting to use your fists and a ball to overcome the challenges of a sport that resembles a miniature puzzle. The mechanics are simple, but there is a good deal of complexity, especially when it comes to manipulating enemies' actions in order to advance. Even so, after a few matches the limitations become apparent and the stages become repetitive. Certain details help to alleviate this problem, such as different teams, modes and competitive options, however they may not be enough for some players. In the end, Dungeon Deathball has fun with your creativity, even for a short time.

The Dark Pictures franchise continues to produce high-quality narrative horror pieces. For fans of the genre, they are well worth exploring. The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes shows that the developer is learning from player feedback and that there is still room for improvement with each new game. It is expected that Bandai and Supermassive will continue to invest in polishing the experience and strengthening the series with each new game.

Aeon Must Die! offers a unique interpretation of beat ‘em ups, but its weak execution of those concepts undermines the game as a whole. The combat and its temperature system is creative, and specific battles utilize interesting strategic aspects. Besides that, the atmosphere is fascinating, using great visuals with neon colors and a synthwave soundtrack. Unfortunately, that's all the major qualities the title has to offer. The list of issues is big: the gameplay flow is constantly broken by meaningless conversations, the story isn't exciting, the battles soon become shallow and repetitive, and many mechanics need some balancing. Those who are more dedicated may find something enjoyable, but, in the end, Aeon Must Die! is an underwhelming experience.

There is a specific kind of public who will love BATS: Bloodsucking Anti-Terrorist Squad thanks to its challenge considering how popular speedrunning has been, and the same can be said for retro games enthusiasts. However, generally speaking, its repetitiveness along with its small content make it not as exciting as the great action title it could have been.

Bringing back three true classics, Crysis Remastered Trilogy shows why they were references in the FPS market and deserve another chance in the current times. The ideal choice is to get the complete saga, not only because of the considerable discount, but especially because all of them are of excellent quality. Any option you prefer, these titles are obligatory in any library, especially for fans of good shooters and adventure games. I hope the remasters are successful and pave the way to a new game in the famous Crytek franchise.

Inscryption goes far beyond what it initially appears to be. The unusual combination of deckbuilder, roguelike and escape room becomes one of the most interesting experiences I've ever had. Despite the unbalanced disputes, the ritual theme and the intimidating setting are extremely competent, making us afraid to explore and proceed. The post-game is mind blowing, totally breaking expectations and raising the game even more.

The Good Life is an experience that can be quite frustrating for some players. Representing the life of an ordinary worker in a bizarre setting, the game weighs its hand on elements of management that are sure to displease a fair amount of people. However, for those who manage to go further, taking advantage of all the charisma of the game and its unusual proposal, there is a beautiful experience to be found here.

Despite being announced in the shadow of the failure of the Avengers game, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy hits every point where the title developed by Crystal Dynamics went wrong. The choice to make a single player , totally linear and complete game at its launch, without any future DLC, is justified with a great plot focused on Star Lord, but that still explores the history of the other members of the team and a fun gameplay based on leadership. The title is full of fan service, with references to other characters and Marvel sagas, and has one of the best soundtracks in the world of electronic games. Without a doubt, an experience that brings out the best of the most misfit group of heroes in this galaxy.

Far Cry 6 isn't particularly daring when it comes to gameplay and creativity for the mission dynamics, something that can make it feel a little repetitive. However, the amigos and Supremos bring with them a new feeling for the battle strategies. Besides that, the characters' actings, especially Anton Castillo's, add a believable tone to a story that could just have been a very trivial matter.

Evertried is further proof that Brazil has the potential for good games, especially in the indie scenario. Knowing that a game as good as this one was made here gives a little warmth to the heart. Also, it's a great addition to the roguelike genre.

NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 is an interesting and varied collection with great games from the SNK portable console. It's a product that is sure to appeal to retro enthusiasts and portable enthusiasts, with the potential to appeal to a wider audience, especially casual gamers, given the simple, “to the point” nature of the games. Although it's a bit under-resourced and despite the absence of SNK Vs. Capcom: The Match of Millenium, the quality of the collection will guarantee a lot of fun.

Klang 2 chooses to go in a different direction than its predecessor. A dangerous and daring choice, but rewarded by competent work in delivering a new way to experience rhythmic games. The combat can be tiring for some players, but it is balanced by the continuous introduction of new enemies with different movement patterns.

Gleylancer is one of those few classics that even those who never played should have heard of. Though it is only a port among many that exist nowadays, one advantage of it is that it follows the Ratalaika standard — that is, a fun game at low cost compared to other similar titles and at the same time offers an easy platinum for trophy hunters, beyond being one of the gems from the golden age of the Mega Drive system.

What to talk about Tetris in 2021? Based on what I experienced in Tetris Effect: Connected, I can say that we have here one of the most remarkable presentations of a classic game that defies time. It's that old game that still captivates, amuses and challenges. A worthy game for puzzle fans in a vigorous and technically perfect experience of an eternal classic.

Overall, the Steam version of SNK Vs. Capcom: The Match of Millennium is worth much more as a historical record. Its continuous gameplay factor, by current standards, is almost nil, as fun as it is. The fact that it doesn't run natively, that is, other than the emulation interface, in addition to the lack of an online system, unfortunately, makes things quite difficult , even if it's a title with local multiplayer and it is supported by Steam's remote play system.

Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl might even be an interesting alternative to people who like competitive platform fighters, but as a videogame it's clearly a waste of potential. Luckily, Ludosity has a good history and seems to be listening to fans feedback in order to make constant updates to make the game better. However, at the time of this review, the title still offers a shallow experience for any players who aren't interested in the competitive scene.
