Just like many puzzle games rely on rich and well-structured narratives to justify the existence of each challenge, The Wild at Heart delivers a creative story full of mysterious moments. The difference here is the freedom that the map gives the player to explore the challenges in the order they think best, allowing each one to advance on the main plot at the pace they prefer. It is a game for those who like to explore the environment with curiosity and attention and who are looking for an interesting and well-articulated story and gameplay, so that the mechanics serve to reinforce the intended experience. In this game where partnership is fundamental, fun comes hand in hand with emotion.

Skydrift Infinity is a simple and fun remaster that is ideal for moments of rest and relaxation. The few game modes, available tracks and the dead online monde don't hold the player for long, but the game does guarantee fun for a few races every now and then.

Axiom Verge 2 is one of those happy cases where the wait paid off. Compared to the first game, the sequel offers a distinct experience in which the exploration and reward mechanics are capable of providing unique moments. Its combat system could have been worked better, but any mishaps in this regard are not enough to tarnish a work that should be experienced by every player who claims to be a metroidvania fan. Here's a title that masterfully mixes the classic and the modern, and its setting alone would be worth the admission ticket, recommended.

Even with so many details that leave us with that feeling of "they could have done this/that" to give it a little extra breath, id Software opted for the right to keep the original experience as a priority in this relaunch. It's always nice to see old faces back in the crowd, even if they're all battered and bleeding. Rejoice, nineties! Quake is back and remains authentic.

Madden NFL 22 has brought even more realism with the ability to manage the coaching staff, a great option for those who follow every detail of their favorite franchise, and GameDay Momentum, very welcome additions after last year's "copy and paste". However, the game continues with the sameness of the other game modes, which had little or no change, and does not open the doors, at least in a more inviting way, to beginners or more casual players.

Twelve Minutes is clearly not made for the general public. The experience it offers is very unique, exciting and extremely immersive, but not very fun. For those interested in fully immersing themselves in a unique time-loop story, Twelve Minutes is sure to be a treat. However, the game will hardly please those who are simply looking for a good game to pass the time.

Humankind brings good ideas for 4X and strategy games in general, but it doesn't reach its full potential due to some shallow mechanics and some bugs. Pleasant, beautiful and easy to learn, Humankind is a title that will make you recreate the history of humanity over and over again.

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown may not bring many content additions, but its payback alone is significant. The title presented itself in an adequate way for the current generation and manages to combine a good performance with a great visual and sound quality. Its characteristic gameplay is very inviting and nostalgic, perfect for those who wanted to experience nostalgia.

RiMS Racing is the kind of product that follows to the letter the rule of simulators: it's a niche game. The lack of options that would turn it more attractive to casual players limits those who will really appreciate the game. My experience wasn't one of the best, but there were moments I really enjoyed piloting a Superbike, something I'd never do in real life. If you're looking for an alternative to Ride, MXGP and similar titles, RiMS Racing may not be the option for you. This is the kind of game for people who really enjoy, live and breathe motorcycle racing.

art of rally offers a different approach for enthusiasts of this sport, being suitable for those looking for accessible rally games without sacrificing realistic physics. With pleasant gameplay, good controls and a nice minimalist look, maybe it won't appeal to those looking for an experience closer to first-person simulators, but it serves the purpose of offering a fun game that celebrates this motorsport category history.

I confess that my expectations for Aliens: Fireteam Elite were low. I was already expecting another random game hitchhiking on Fox's license, but I had fun obliterating xenomorphs with my rifle—aside the pleasure of toasting several aliens at once with a flamethrower. Despite the constant repetitiveness, it's fun and challenging in an honest and addictive way. As a fan of the movies — the original trilogy, okay? — I salute this game, it deserves.

Fort Triumph is a fun and very well done strategic RPG which innovates in its turn-based strategic combat with the terrain use mechanics. Despite having an interface that is a little difficult to understand at first, its humorous campaign with charismatic characters and enjoyable combat system make this game a recommendation for fans of tactical games.

The concept of Tetragon is very creative and well-applied. Though it may seem repetitive in theory, each stage has a unique creative resolution that is a treat for anyone who enjoys the genre. Unfortunately, its performance lapses interrupt the fun several times.

Recompile presents a unique concept, but the clumsy execution of its ideas completely compromises the game. The world inside the mainframe captivates with its interesting setting, especially the interpretation of programs and devices. However, other aspects have problems: the level design is uninteresting, the imprecise jump makes the platform parts irritating, the combat is truncated and dull, and the hacking mechanics are basically irrelevant. As such, Recompile is a difficult adventure to recommend.

Spelunker HD Deluxe rescues a title that was a pioneer for the genre and brings very cool game modes to the current context. However, its strange gameplay, its visual enhancement that omits traps and its somewhat aggressive learning curve can end up scaring off players who just want to spend a few hours having fun without compromise.

GRIME awakened contradictory feelings in me: at the same time that I felt uncomfortable in that world, I wanted to absorb it more and more. Mixing soulslike with metroidvania works well, except for the protagonist's mobility issue, requiring patience in exploration. The setting is one of the highlights with elaborated and detailed characters and locations that provokes the most different types of feelings. GRIME is not a game for everyone, but it is an excellent recommendation for those who want to try something different.

Lawn Mowing Simulator is a well-crafted game that fulfills its purpose of realistically simulating the operation of a professional lawn mower, including the micro-management of a company. The activity itself is repetitive and not very exciting, but on the other hand it is a very relaxing pastime, great for moments of introspection and serenity.

Greak: Memories of Azur captivate by mixing elements from various genres and by presenting beautiful hand-drawn graphics, making it a great choice for platform and metroidvania fans. Gameplay is fun most of the time, but simultaneous control of characters at certain times can be a little frustrating. The random soundtrack and little variety of enemies can make the adventure a little monotonous at times.

Fire Tonight brings an interesting proposal, playing with this “flame” predominant in young people's relationships is a subject that causes an identification with a good part of the public that lived or is living a similar moment. However, the idea ends up poorly executed due to the underdeveloped relationship between Maya and Devin. And the emotion that would be linked to the adventure of traveling through a city on fire after your love, is reduced to short stages without threats or potential challenges.

Even with the initial problems, which are currently mostly Fixed, Fallen Knight can be considered a respected “spiritual successor” to the Mega Man X franchise. The title manages to bring together fast-paced and exciting combat, iconic bosses and a well-crafted story, aspects much appreciated in the adventure and platform genre. The experience was not only satisfying, it also left me wanting more from this universe.
