Fairy Tail: Dungeons is a very welcome addition to Hiro Mashima's universe, offering a fun and highly addictive roguelike deckbuilding experience, even for those who don't know Fairy Tail. More than anything, Ginolabo's title stands out as an excellent representative of its genre, an aspect that every anime-based game should prioritize above all else.

Star Wars Outlaws is an experience that captures the essence of the Star Wars universe, delivering an immersive and visually stunning experience with the characteristics of a heist movie. Massive Entertainment has managed to create an open world that offers players the opportunity to explore the vast Outer Rim in an authentic and immersive way. Outlaws also brings with it some of the recurring problems in Ubisoft games, such as the repetition of missions and the lack of innovation in certain aspects of the gameplay. Still, for Star Wars fans and those who enjoy a good open-world game, Star Wars Outlaws is an adventure worth experiencing, offering memorable moments in a game that respects its source material and offers something worthy to the franchise.

Shadow of the Ninja - Reborn offers an intense action-platforming experience that revisits a classic with revamped graphics and new mechanics. However, the insistence on keeping old elements compromises the gameplay, resulting in frustrating challenges that require patience and memorization. Despite its flaws, the game stands out with its fast-paced action and colorful pixel art settings, although the limited content leaves something to be desired. Ultimately, Shadow of the Ninja - Reborn is a competent homage to the past that could have benefited from a more careful modernization.

Beyond romance, Lilja and Natsuka Painting Lies discusses empowerment and breaking stereotypes. The chapters also explore how difficulties and traumas we've faced affect and shape our lives; in this sense, it's impossible not to praise the visual novel for putting empathy as the main agent in transformation and personal growth. In sum, the relationship between Lilja and Natsuka exemplify how different perspectives and approaches contribute to something bigger when there's comradery and cooperation between people. Though some fights may be individual, that doesn't mean we need to refuse the help others offer [to us].

Crypt Custodian stands out for its originality and the charisma of its characters, which, together with the cozy atmosphere and humor, provide an engaging and fun experience. The colorful world, fast pace, and varied challenges make exploration enjoyable, while the boss battles are memorable and well-crafted. However, the game is not without its flaws. The repetitiveness of certain mechanics and the lack of originality in some areas of the map affect the pace of the adventure, which could have been bolder in some aspects. Despite these limitations, Crypt Custodian offers an enjoyable experience and deserves to be explored, especially by those who enjoy light and creative metroidvanias.

Castaway brought a well planned mix of elements to compose an adventure that's brief but has an interesting level of challenge. If it offered more dungeon and enemy variation, it'd definitely get the highlight it deserves as its gameplay and mechanics are fun enough to make players keep playing even the repetitive floors of the Tower.

Just like Gori and his friends join a resistance force against the evil toys of the Adorable Army, Gori: Cuddly Carnage is one of the resilient bastions of hack and slash with its traditional gameplay that values the stylish execution of combos and the carnage instead of rolling around and stamina bar limitations so usual in the modern industry limited action games. It's a true breath [of fresh air] in a genre [on the break of] being extinct in a very captivating product that knows what it wants to do.

BAKERU stands out as a 3D platform adventure that, despite its simplicity, enchants with its diversity of situations and charisma. The raccoon boy's journey through Japan is filled with creative moments, varied stages and a vibrant setting that mixes modern and folkloric elements. However, the lightness of the challenge may make the experience less exciting for those looking for something more demanding. Even so, BAKERU has the power to engage with its charm and variety, being an enjoyable experience for those looking for something relaxed and full of creativity.

Flock is an excellent representation of the freedom of flying through an ecosystem that is both exotic and mysterious. A relaxing journey through a beautiful world that can easily be recommended for all ages.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles manages to be a fun and engaging action game on its own, and even those unfamiliar with the original work it's based on will probably be able to enjoy the experience. However, its multiple limitations mean it doesn't stand out as much within the action RPG genre as it could.

With a simple, accessible, and competent concept, House of Golf 2 delivers a fun experience. Unfortunately, this fun lasts only a few hours, especially if it's not enjoyed with friends. Though the domestic fields are captivating, the game as a whole needed more in the way of game modes, rewards and personality. I recommend it for golf fans and players looking for an interesting experience but that should be enjoyed moderately.

F1 Manager 2024 offers a unique experience for motorsport enthusiasts who want to learn more about the science of the sport. This simulator may not be suitable for those who want something lighter and more to the point, but if you like to know every part of the calendar, from the beginning to the end, as well as the circuits, you will be entertained by each stage of your team's journey towards the title.

Natsu-Mon: 20th Century Summer Kid isn't exactly an emotional game, not an action-filled adventure or an extremely intricate story, but it's a game sensible to memories and feelings that many people have experienced during their childhoods, be it in Japan or even in Brazil. Playing has always been good, remembering that age as an adult is also good, and a game that manages to communicate this nostalgic vibe so well to the player is an extreme success for Millenium Kitchen.

Overall, The Case of the Golden Idol manages to enter the niche of good detective games that require real attention and reasoning in their investigations. Its retro look is well applied, but it may not be to everyone's taste. The mysteries are intriguing, provide good challenges and also have a hint system for those who are more comfortable with them.

CYGNI: All Guns Blazing may bring new players to the genre due to its appealing presentation but it's underwhelming in design for the experienced fans of shoot'em ups. The idea of risk and reward from converting shields to missiles is interesting but it quickly becomes repetitive due to the lack of variation in the shots, making it only a way to deal with tough bullet patterns.

Moonless Moon is more of an immersive and introspective experience than a game, though there are some gameplay elements for us to intervene with during the reading. Sometimes I felt that it lacked a little more "dare" to develop the themes more or to make it so the riddles could have made the story less linear but we can't take away the merit of the excellent narrative in ANMC's debut title. Overall, this is a visual novel where the biggest appeal is its audiovisual, especially the ambiance and the immersion the excellent soundtrack offers. The only thing left is to know if Yomichi's trips to different worlds will have the same impact for you than it did for me

Black Myth: Wukong is one of the most impressive debuts in recent years. I don't remember a small company being able to deliver a project as solid, polished and with its own identity as this one. The Game Science team chose a source material full of meaning and importance, applied their passion and experience and transformed a literary classic into an addictive, well-constructed game with a unique identity. Despite problems in the world design, in the writing of some characters and in underutilized systems, the game will certainly please those who waited so many years to finally make their journey to the West and face the dazzling wonders of the mythical world of Chinese folklore.

Dustborn is a good story, with good characters, but it completely lost its way trying to be more than it needed to be. Its best ideas end up being buried in a torrent of poorly developed elements that, at the same time, take up too much of the story's time. It would have been a perfect Life Is Strange-style game, if it didn't want to prove its own existence to people who will never be interested.

Steel Racer is a title that tries to evoke the good spirit of 90s arcade racing games, but it slips up by making everything too easy, to the point of becoming a bit tiresome. The visuals and soundtrack even try to make things more interesting, but they are overshadowed by the gameplay that needs some more striking features.
