Almost two months after its release, it's clear that Marvel Rivals isn't just a passing success. The game has been maintaining daily peaks of over 300,000 players on Steam alone, an impressive number for the genre. I believe this volume could be even higher if the optimization were better worked on, and it remains to be seen whether NetEase will pay due attention to this in the future. For now, what we have is a quality hero shooter, standing out and establishing itself as a strong competitor in the games-as-a-service market.

Like a dream come true from the 1990s, Gimmick! 2 has beautiful, lively visuals, clever and challenging platforming, and plenty of charisma, although it doesn't try to expand the game's identity beyond the cute design of Yumetaro and his adversaries.
