Fear the Timeloop is definitely an interesting survival horror game that, while it may not look like a big-budget title, manages to deliver a powerful experience. Its greatest strength is its original take on the time loop. Every death isn’t a failure, but another step toward understanding the situation. Of course, the game isn’t without its flaws. At times, it feels technically rough around the edges, and some mechanics could use more refinement. Still, it succeeds in creating a suspenseful atmosphere and keeping you on the edge of your seat. Another strength is the gradual unfolding of the story, which motivates you to keep going. If you enjoy games that make you think, plan, and try new approaches, Fear the Timeloop might be a pleasant surprise for you.

Quarantine Zone: The Last Check offers a slightly different take on the zombie apocalypse. It’s the perfect game for those who can’t stand wading through a crumbling city with a limited ammo supply and the feeling that something is lurking just around the corner. There’s no shortage of tense moments, but once you really get into the game, you’ll find yourself relaxing quite a bit. It definitely has plenty to keep you entertained, although you’ll eventually fall into a routine. The graphics and gameplay are pretty decent, and the developers paid close attention to detail even within the game’s compact scope. Any flaws are mostly cosmetic or depend on individual player preferences. Some people will definitely enjoy the scanning mechanic.

Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot is reminiscent of early virtual reality games, which were designed to introduce people to new hardware and let them revel in their first immersion into a world of textures and polygons. As a full-fledged title, however, it is far too simple, short, and unengaging. Paradoxically, despite its static design, it also tends to induce nausea. In its defense, though, it was released at a low price and is very often on sale. You can pick it up for less than five euros. At that price, even an average and imperfect little game set in a popular fictional universe is something you can grab without hesitation.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch 2 Edition isn’t a revolutionary upgrade, but it is a solid and thoughtful improvement to an already exceptional game. Nintendo played it safe here, opting for improved technical performance, greater comfort, and a still very affordable upgrade price rather than bold changes. If you’re looking for a relaxing game that will help you slow down and escape the daily hustle and bustle, Animal Crossing remains a great choice even years later.

My Hero Academia: All’s Justice is a game you’ll love and hate at the same time. It’s a beautiful, content-rich, and emotional farewell to the series that defined a generation. If you’re a fan who needs to stay in the world of Quirks a little longer, you have no choice—you have to play it. The emotions, the voice acting, and the cast of characters make it worth it. But if you’re looking for a well-balanced, technically polished fighting game and don’t have an emotional connection to My Hero Academia, stay away. The frustrating difficulty and technical glitches will ruin the experience for you. For me personally, though, despite all its flaws, it’s close to my heart—and I forgive its sins for that one moment when I could feel like a hero one last time.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key DX je důstojným završením oblíbené trilogie a zároveň jedním z nejlepších dílů celé série Atelier. Nabízí propracovaný alchymistický systém, sympatické postavy, příjemné tempo a atmosféru, která se výrazně odlišuje od většiny dnešních RPG. Verze DX navíc přidává dostatek nového obsahu, který ospravedlňuje její znovu vydání. Tato hra však není pro každého. Pokud hledáte rychlou akci nebo temný, epický příběh, Ryza vás pravděpodobně nezaujme. Pokud však máte rádi pohodovější RPG s důrazem na tvorbu předmětů, postavy a svět, který vás vybízí ke zpomalení, pak je Ryza 3 DX tou správnou volbou.

Coffee Caravan is a great example of how to combine a “cozy” aesthetic with surprisingly challenging gameplay. At first glance, it looks like a laid-back game about making coffee, but you’ll quickly discover that multitasking, time pressure, and demanding customers can get your adrenaline pumping more than the morning rush at a real coffee shop. The game combines a clever mix of time management, roguelite mechanics, and gradual learning from your mistakes. All of this is delivered with subtle humor—like when a customer walks away satisfied while you’re desperately searching for a lost spoon. Coffee Caravan doesn’t force you to be perfect, but it motivates you to be just a little better than last time. Whether it’s preparing drinks faster, optimizing your caravan’s layout, or surviving an extremely demanding day. It’s definitely not a game for everyone. Broccoli Games has created a game that’s small in scope but big on content. Coffee Caravan isn’t just about making coffee. It’s about managing chaos, finding balance, and enjoying the satisfaction of a job well done. And honestly? After a few hours of playing, you’ll appreciate every real-life barista a little more… and maybe even their ability to not mess up a latte during the morning rush.

Demonschool is a surprisingly rich game for anyone who enjoys isometric RPGs with turn-based combat and a retro pixel art style. It features plenty of dialogue and battles, and it certainly doesn’t rush you through anything. Look forward to an above-average playtime, and you’ll also encounter some horror elements. If you want to take a break from the main storyline while playing, there are plenty of side activities, as well as sometimes absurd dark humor. Last but not least, the game is peppered with all sorts of pop culture references that connoisseurs are sure to appreciate. If you’re looking for something like Persona or Into the Breach and you love pixel art, you’ve come to the right place.

Bloodshed is a game that knows exactly what it wants to be. It doesn’t try to impress with an epic story or technical finesse, but focuses on pure, uncompromising fun. The combination of an FPS with roguelike elements works well, and thanks to its distinctive pace, it offers an experience that stands out sufficiently from most of the competition. On the other hand, it’s not a game for everyone. If you don’t like repetition, randomness, or a fast pace, you’ll likely get bored with the game quickly. But if you’re looking for an intense action roguelike that will push you to try new builds and constantly improve, Bloodshed can keep you hooked for hours on end.

Euro Truck Simulator 2: Nordic Horizons is yet another sign that the developers at the Czech studio SCS Software love creating trucks and pour their heart and soul into them. For 17.99 euros, you’ll get your hands on the most expansive and picturesque landscape ever released in the Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator universes. We definitely think it’s a success, and it would be a mistake for you, as a fan, to ignore this release. Nine and a half out of ten.

Croc: Legend of the Gobbos is a well-done remaster of a game that was never quite top-tier and has aged worse than its more famous predecessors. I don’t say this with any bitterness, because I believe that even smaller, imperfect games from the past deserve to be made available to modern players on today’s platforms. You just have to keep in mind that you’re not buying a title whose qualities would earn it a spot in the platformer hall of fame.

Chicken Police: Into the HIVE! lets you lead a thrilling police investigation—and what’s more, it sets it against colorful backdrops and within its own unique world. At the same time, it piles one bearded cliché on top of another, but it does so so consistently and with such passion that you’ll want to turn off your inner critic and simply enjoy the well-told story… because this is a damn good detective story.

To wrap things up this time, I can’t help but wonder: if you haven’t played BioShock, what have you been doing? It’s a true milestone and a major event of its time. A game that, back then, wowed players with its visuals, story, pacing—simply everything. This was a time when, for your money—which, I’ll admit, wasn’t cheap—you got a complete product, and it was definitely worth it. Its quality is evidenced not only by the fact that it spawned two sequels, but also by the fact that it was released on all the major platforms of its time. Plus, today you can pick it up on sale for the price of a nice ice pop—and get the remastered version to boot. The Epic Games Store even gave it away for free... BioShock is, quite simply, an atmospheric FPS with an interesting RPG system and a compelling story set in a truly breathtaking environment.
