If you're tired of killing mindless NPCs in shooters or hunting that boar in the forbidden forest, but you'd still like to bag a creature or two, there's nothing easier than buying this.

My final rating might surprise you, but personally, I have to say that despite the shortcomings I mentioned, I had fun playing it. Of course, if you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality bus simulator, Astragon’s Bus Simulator series will give you a much better sense of what it’s like to be a driver. However, if you just want to put your feet up and are looking for a casual, relaxing game, Bus Driver Simulator can keep you entertained for a while. Personally, though, I recommend waiting for a sale, as the price of €24.99 is simply too high given the quality of the game, and for the same or a similar price, the competition is several tiers above this title.

6 / 10.0 - Hokko Life
Dec 23, 2021

I really liked Hokko Life because its design makes it a very enjoyable game to play. However, it’s hard to overlook the strong similarities to Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Stardew Valley. The aspects where they differ, such as crafting, don’t work as well or are downright frustrating. Otherwise, the game is a pleasant, relaxing experience. I’m already looking forward to what it has in store for us in the future.

6 / 10.0 - Twin Mirror
Dec 22, 2021

Twin Mirror is a game that has a lot to say about small towns, mental health, and the value of truth over popularity. If you’re a fan of narrative-driven adventure games, you should definitely check this one out. However, if you expect it to be on par with Life is Strange or Vampyr, you might be a little disappointed.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Beast Inside
Dec 19, 2021

In my opinion, the best parts of the game definitely take place at night with Nicolas. If you like horror games, *The Beast Inside* is perfect for you. It’s sure to give you more than a few heart-stopping moments. Every player will also appreciate that they can decide their own fate.

If you enjoy turn-based combat, army management, plenty of text to read, and a dark fantasy story, you absolutely can’t miss this game right now. The massive amount of content and the solid technical and graphical execution make it a masterpiece. Taking a quick look at the graphics and music, I can only say that the developers did a great job. In any case, I’m very glad I played Disciples: Liberation, and I’m happy to recommend it to anyone who enjoys the classic Disciples and King’s Bounty series.

Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality is a very easy-to-play adventure game that nevertheless features a well-crafted atmosphere. For fans of Doctor Who, this game definitely falls into the “must-try” category. It’s not so much a unique gaming experience as it is a virtual guide to the worlds of Doctor Who. As a huge fan of the TV series, I’ll certainly turn a blind eye to some of the game’s flaws, and I think many other players will do the same.

8 / 10.0 - Dead Cells
Dec 17, 2021

Dead Cells is a visually stunning game that’s perfect for fans of action-packed roguelike platformers. It offers a high level of difficulty and perfectly fluid gameplay. This action title will test not only your nerves, but also your reflexes and endurance. Although the game lacks a deep storyline, its charm lies primarily in its humor and the ever-changing ways it can be played. Dead Cells offers dozens of hours of fun not only for seasoned roguelike players but also for complete newcomers.

9.5 / 10.0 - Forza Horizon 5
Dec 16, 2021

Playground Games has managed to create an incredible masterpiece that left me shaking my head in a good way. Forza Horizon 5 has surpassed itself in every way, as well as other similar racing games. The game offers players absolute freedom and an unforgettable experience. Without a second thought, I’m giving it nine and a half out of ten.

7.5 / 10.0 - FAR: Lone Sails
Dec 15, 2021

FAR: Lone Sails is a relaxing adventure game with a unique art style, enriched with logic puzzles and challenges, in which you play as a tiny girl uncovering the tragic fate of a parched world. The main focus of the game is controlling your metal vehicle, which is interesting at first, but later the actions become repetitive without anything new, leading to a slight sense of monotony. Over the course of about three hours, you’ll embark on a journey through a beautiful world that feels more like a work of art than a game.

7.5 / 10.0 - PAC-MAN 256
Dec 13, 2021

Pac-Man 256 is a surprisingly good port of the endless runner from Android/iOS. The mechanics, which are easy to understand but harder to master, give the game that classic arcade feel, and the good balance ensures plenty of fun. Most losses will likely be due to the player’s own skill rather than the game setting you up for a fall. This new Pac-Man is therefore a good title for occasional relaxation… though it’s true that aside from endless repetition aimed at unlocking everything or achieving the highest score, there isn’t much else to do here.

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is, in my opinion, the best game I’ve played this year. I finally got to experience the characters in a way other than through written text. The combat system is brilliantly designed and offers a real challenge. The story is as gripping as can be—I didn’t just click through it this time; I listened to the whole thing and had a good laugh along the way. The atmosphere of Bilgewater is indescribable. All I can say is that I’m looking forward to a sequel—or even the same game set in a different location on Runeterra. This title proves that Riot is taking good care of its baby, Riot Forge.

Tactical Combat Department is a well-crafted turn-based strategy game set in the real world and centered around special forces. There are no superpowers, undead, or magic, which is quite rare in this genre. The inspiration drawn from the SWAT series has clearly paid off. The game has great potential, but it still has a long way to go before it can truly stand out from its competitors in this category.

6.5 / 10.0 - War Mongrels
Dec 9, 2021

War Mongrels brings some innovative elements to isometric RTS games. The story and characters are really well-written, and the intense atmosphere greatly enhances the gaming experience. The heroes are well-designed and possess unique abilities, making every team member indispensable. The graphics are very well-done and impressive. The game’s brutality and the option to play in combat mode—essentially navigating the map in a shooter-style—make War Mongrels very original and refreshing. However, the game still suffers from some technical issues, which are being gradually fixed. Once the developers manage to polish the game, it will become a top-tier stealth RTS that is sure to captivate players.

6 / 10.0 - LOVE
Dec 8, 2021

The concept is great, no doubt about it, and so is the atmosphere, but the rest falls short. For the developers to improve the game and make it playable for me, they’d have to completely overhaul it. They should have a maximum of two or three stories per level, and ideally remove the characters from the previous level once it’s completed. They should also sharpen the graphics and remove a lot of the details that just confuse you when solving puzzles, and then LOVE – A Puzzle Box Filled with Stories could be a great, melancholic indie game.

Bright Memory: Infinite doesn't have a particularly strong story, the main character isn't very interesting, and your arch-enemy is more of a token presence. Still, we’re talking about a solid game that, in terms of gameplay, could rival cult classics like Painkiller or DOOM. It’s a brutal, dynamic ride that doesn’t let you catch your breath for a second. On top of that, you’re treated to a great soundtrack and stunning graphics. I definitely hope we’ll see more games from Mr. Zeng in the future.

Expeditions: Viking is a well-crafted turn-based RPG that relies on a story-rich game world. The main story is complemented by a wide variety of well-designed side quests that can often leave you scratching your head. You’ll never be sure whether your choice was the right one or if it will have fatal consequences down the line. Your friends can become enemies, and an enemy can eventually become an ally. Unfortunately, the game is starting to show its age, so don’t expect it to meet today’s standards. Nevertheless, it’s a very well-made and challenging RPG that, if you give it a chance, will reward you with hours of entertainment.

TT Isle of Man 2 is undoubtedly better than its predecessor in every way. The developers at KT Racing have significantly refined the driving model and improved the career mode in many respects. However, the series still has a few shortcomings that slightly detract from the overall experience. Despite this, it’s a great game that should be a staple in any racing simulator enthusiast’s library.
