VenusBlood Frontier International is definitely a great game, and I highly recommend it. The animations, visual design, character backstories, and the various choices you can make all make this a solid title. The only things that might put you off are the confusing tutorial, the unattractive design of the military group menu, or the aforementioned 18+ patch.

Prison Simulator will undoubtedly provide you with a very entertaining first few hours of gameplay. However, despite the developers’ best efforts, this simulator—as is often the case with this genre—falls into a rut. On the other hand, the game boasts quite nice visuals, flawless optimization, and similarities to various movies and TV shows set in a prison environment. So if you want to try your hand at being a prison guard, this game is just the ticket for you.

The first installment of TT Isle of Man from KT Racing is more of a technical demo that lays a solid foundation for a potentially successful series in the future. We’ll see how the next installment improves in terms of quality, but the first game reviewed here falls into the “above-average” category due to its mediocre graphics and a driving model that sometimes behaves oddly. However, I certainly wouldn’t write off this series just yet; I’d wait and see how the next installment improves in quality.

Effie is a charming platformer with a moral lesson, and if you can accept that it’s aimed more at a younger audience—which explains its lower difficulty—you’ll have a few hours of fun. The beautiful world, with its dazzlingly colorful graphics, offers complete freedom to explore. However, nothing comes without its problems, which here take the form of occasional technical glitches and an uninteresting antagonist. Effie isn’t a bad game, but it won’t impress more demanding players.

I actually ended up enjoying As Far As The Eye, despite the fact that there were moments when I wanted to pull my hair out after making a bad move. It’s beautifully designed, and it’s a joy to watch the little monsters use their magic to build a structure or gather wood. It’s definitely a good idea to think through your moves and, if possible, plan them ahead. It’s definitely not an action game—quite the opposite; it’s better not to rush and to take your time.

Dead in Bermuda is a unique game with an engaging story and characters you’ll either love or hate. So pack your bags and head off to a deserted island.

The horror title SIMULACRA can entertain you, scare you, and make you think—all for less than four euros. As the saying goes, a lot of music for little money. In my opinion, the game has a very interesting concept and execution; using real actors was a perfect choice, the story will keep you glued to your chair, and the scary atmosphere will keep you on edge. However, the ending will probably disappoint me for a while, as I was expecting something more thought-out and epic.

At first glance, Devil's Hunt definitely looks like an action-packed, brutal beat-'em-up with an interestingly rendered world and a slightly clichéd story. Unfortunately, that’s just how it appears—it’s a misleading impression. Instead of the action you’ve been longing for, you’ll get more of an interactive movie and a heap of whining. In that case, you’d at least expect well-designed combat, but the combat and other game mechanics will only leave you frustrated. It’s not a completely bad game, you can finish it but it doesn’t leave the best impression.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an amazing game with fantastic production values and breathtaking graphics. It’s a perfect RPG that stays true to the real world and historical accuracy. Thanks to its story, numerous side quests, and activities, the game will become a real time-sink, as it will simply draw you in. Some players might not fully appreciate the unique combat system, which is quite complex at first. However, if you devote a few hours to the game and let it fully guide you through the basics of gameplay, you’ll be rewarded with a spectacular experience in a world you won’t want to leave.

Overall, Paw Paw Paw is a decent beat ’em up that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and its price is commensurate with the few hours you’ll spend playing it. You’ll often have to replay missions because you’ll run into some damn tough enemies, but the short levels help alleviate that stress. The variety within the levels is also really good, but it would be nice to have more moves available. Unfortunately, everything is let down by the weak AI of your companions and unreliable hit detection.

Vikings – Wolves of Midgard is a well-made game that had great potential. Unfortunately, however, it is slightly let down by the lack of certain elements typical of the chosen genre. In particular, the lack of side quests, dungeons and their looting, and active NPCs is disappointing. The game is essentially a hack-and-slash title without a deep story, though, as I read in a statement before its release, that was exactly what the developers were aiming for. In other words, less of a deep story and plenty of action—and in that regard, they succeeded. The game offers great fun where you’ll be taking down enemies and monsters from rich Norse mythology.

Ageless stands very well in the ever-growing genre of heavy platformers. It owes this to a great variety of new elements and unique story aspects. The graphical style uses color in a beautiful way and brings the world of Ageless to life. This game thus remains a fun and stimulating experience for any fan of challenging platformers.

In short, if you like Zelda-like games, you'll love Ocean's Heart, it's a great game. So I can highly recommend it, but with an understanding of what you're getting into. I think it's a well-designed, if a little corny, game that offers a lot to fans of classic Zelda.

Still There is a small-format adventure game that hides many beauties and secrets. The emotionally powerful story must touch even the insensitive characters, because you won't have the chance to meet such tragic human fates anywhere else. Where the title falls short, on the other hand, is in the more challenging puzzles without enough clues, which in the end only drag the game out. The game is certainly not for impatient gamers looking for fast-paced action.

Skully is a very nice game in which you have to overcome and jump 18 different interesting levels. It is accompanied by beautiful graphics, minimal bugs and errors and will guarantee you several hours of gaming experience. The story is simple, full of twists and definitely adds plus points. Ultimately, we can't help but feel good about Skull Skully, which is why we highly recommend buying the game (especially on sale).

Colony Ship: A Post-Earth Role Playing Game is already at this stage a very good game that makes you think and rethink your every move. The game features a very elaborate character system, many items and a game world set on an interplanetary ship. Difficult battles and tactical AI additionally ensure that you feel good about every win, at least until you look at the loot or go for the reward for completing a task, when you're more likely to pull a sad face. Your actions have consequences and a tarnished reputation is hard to repair. If you work for one faction, the other factions will react strongly to it. The game still has a long way to go, but it is already a hilarious RPG at this stage.

Stygian is a game with a well-written story based on the works of H. P. Lovecraft. Players get a perfectly crafted title. The game is aimed more at players who enjoy horror classics and traditional RPGs, rather than the younger set. If you decide to give it a try, a unique experience awaits you.

TheHunter: Call of the Wild is clearly one of the very good hunting simulators. The behaviour of the animals is absolutely logical and corresponds to reality. Graphically, it is a gem that is pleasing to the eye, and if you have the opportunity to play on a powerful machine, you will really enjoy this pleasure to the fullest. Thanks to a large variety of DLC, you can venture to virtually every known corner of the world. Unfortunately, the game also has a few lingering bugs in the form of game getting stuck on rocks. If you're also one of the achievement hunters on Steam, you're going to cry here. There are several achievements in the game that are buggy. You'll never get the two extra achievements because it was just a seasonal Halloween event from 2018.

Gloria Victis is an excellent cooperative game that will keep you tied to your chair for a long time. If you like genres similar to Mount and Blade, Age of Empires and generally like conquering foreign territories or just like being part of something bigger, I definitely recommend this title. If you play with your friends, you'll have even more fun. Graphically, the title doesn't offend in any way, the combat mechanics are a bit harder, but can be learned fairly quickly.

The Shapeshifting Detective is certainly an unusual game, which means it won't appeal to everyone. It focuses much more on conversation and characters than puzzle solving. The clever use of multiple identities to reveal new bits of information brings satisfaction in itself. Between the excellent acting performances, additional set pieces, and tonal background music, you'll enjoy the game from start to finish.
