9 / 10.0 - Stardew Valley
Jul 19, 2021

The game pretty much builds on the fact that at the beginning you start with a tiny farm, on which you have only a few beds and you grow little until you get to a proper farm and also better equipment. This will take some time, but it will definitely be worth it. Most importantly, Stardew Valley offers incredible freedom and liberty - every day is up to you, and it's entirely up to you what activity you choose to do. You can choose to spend all day in the mine or in your garden, or just goofing around with the other NPCs in town and hanging out on the map. All of this makes Stardew Valley a game that kept me incredibly hooked and entertained for a few dozen hours, and if you get a friend to join you, trust me, the game will take another level up and be a lot more fun.

8.5 / 10.0 - Crusader Kings III
Jul 18, 2021

Crusader Kings III is one of those games that, even if you have to turn it off because you're going to work or school, will leave that compulsive feeling in your head to go play. You can't wait to get home and turn the game on again. During a lecture or a meeting, you plan in the back of your mind what you're going to do next, who you're going to murder, who you're going to marry your son to, or where you're going to take your army next. The gameplay is really top-notch, and that goes hand in hand with the clarity. Unfortunately, the lack of the ability to influence the battle or at least set the strategy in advance or use orders to react somehow during the battle to the current events on the battlefield detracts from that feeling.

Industries of Titan is a very successful strategy game set in the world of cyberpunk with very attractive voxel graphics. Thanks to its concept and setting, it clearly becomes a very original choice for lovers of building games, also thanks to the possibility to build various equipment inside buildings. As well as allowing you to equip your own battleships and toy with the idea of colonising Titan. The developers from Brace Yourself Games have done a decent amount of work already and we can only hope that they will get the game to the final stage as soon as possible.

6.5 / 10.0 - Tools Up!
Jul 18, 2021

Tools Up! is simply another goof that makes fun of another activity in people's lives. After cooking in the form of Overcooked! and the house moving of Moving Out, you get to renovate a house, which again, you'll enjoy mostly with friends. The title offers a cool challenge, a well-crafted soundtrack and nice visuals that make the gameplay even more immersive. The final impression is spoiled by poorly optimised controls in some respects and a few bugs that can hurt you a lot during gameplay.

8 / 10.0 - Chivalry 2
Jul 16, 2021

The important thing is that the game works as it should. The characters are well balanced and I find the maps interesting. Compared to Mordhau, the game is also more accessible and I keep coming back to it for another dose of fun. This unique type of gameplay has a lot of potential and I think the servers will fill up once more content is added.

If you're worried that you won't like the game, don't despair. It may be aimed at teenagers, but that doesn't mean it won't be enjoyed by adults. At the very least, you'll enjoy the pop culture references that are around every corner, and that the maze has plenty of them. And finally, there's the design, which will take your breath away and awaken your classic childlike joy. Don't expect groundbreaking gameplay or story here, this game is really more for slowing down and enjoying every detail in it. The most you'll enjoy from the gameplay itself are the minigames, but they don't come in abundance. However, if you want to get into a different atmosphere, switch off a bit and play something fabulous, you might find Labyrinth City a good fit. When rating, we take into account the fact that the game is aimed at younger players.

Tick Tock: A Tale for Two offers a great escape game featuring a mysterious village, eerie environments with great atmosphere, varied puzzles and a somewhat bland open-ended story. Through various platforms, you and your co-op partner will be puzzling over how to unravel the escape from the eerie world for approximately two hours. However, if you don't have the coveted partner or don't speak much English, you won't be able to play the title, unfortunately.

Fishing: Barents Sea is exactly the title you'll want to play after a long and tiring day, when you want to switch off and clear your head at all costs. The title offers a very simple gameplay without any complicated thinking and also a quick progression that will ensure that the game won't hold you up with anything. This, of course, removes any more complex challenge that die-hard and professional players of the genre will be looking for. Furthermore, the visuals are a little disappointing, as they are only mediocre for 2018. Despite this, Fishing: Barents Sea is a great game that we in our editorial team can unequivocally recommend.

The title is quite hard to evaluate because on the one hand it has an older look and mechanisms that won't work so well nowadays. Of course, if you're a fan of the genre and can enjoy it, it's a different matter altogether. On the other hand, Saviors of Sapphire Wings has a pretty decent story, the characters are nicely done, but that's it otherwise. After a while the fights start to get tiresome and you have no motivation to continue the story. Especially the price is quite discouraging, because the title can't be bought separately, but only in a bundle. The amount of 49,99 € seems really exorbitant in this case. Stranger of Sword City Revisited does not contain any mechanics other than the ones we just listed. To be honest, however, this doesn't hurt the title, as it is a fairly challenging title that can keep you entertained for several hours. The graphics make the game look a bit more modern, even though it's not really. It's just a shame that the title can't be purchased separately, but again only in a bundle for €49.99.

5 / 10.0 - Sakura Swim Club
Jul 10, 2021

Sakura Swim Club offers a well-written, but rather hackneyed cliché story that is quite predictable. Over the course of two hours, you'll chew through a lot of dialogue, with only two characters Mieko and Hiromi appearing depicted throughout the game, who are also the only ones to receive dubbing. It's a shame that the writers didn't go to the trouble of at least portraying the main protagonist or adding dubbing for the other characters to liven up the story. The overall rating is saved by the graphics and sometimes funny scenes with ecchi subtext. If you have a decent personal and sex life, there is no need to indulge in this title. On the contrary, I imagine that for some, Sakura Swim Club is a relaxing diversion for lonely long evenings.

8.5 / 10.0 - Scarlet Nexus
Jul 9, 2021

Scarlet Nexus, despite a few minor flaws, is a great brain punk game that has everything that will make you drool with bliss - breathtaking graphics, a polished combat system with lots of effects, diverse locations full of amazing details, a perfectly fitting soundtrack, a heartfelt dubbing, and most importantly a well-written and narrated story. The style of the anime fits it perfectly, the characters are interesting, the cutscenes are action-packed despite the lack of animation, and the whole concept simply absorbs you. Technically, the game is almost flawlessly polished, and in sixty hours I never once felt the stereotype, but everyone may feel differently.

5.5 / 10.0 - Realpolitiks II
Jul 6, 2021

Realpolitiks II was on its way to becoming a good game in its genre. Unfortunately, the game is dragged down by various technical and graphical errors. The unbalanced and chaotic AI doesn't add much to the situation either, and ultimately the game becomes nothing more than an arms race. Even if you're trying to ride to an economic or technological victory, you're still going to have to weaponize and weaponize. While playing, I still felt like there was so much more that could have been gotten out of the game, there's just still a sense of untapped potential.

7 / 10.0 - Vanquish
Jul 4, 2021

Vanquish is a game without a deep story, with perfect gameplay and the possibility to mess around. It is a very hilarious port with tons of action and some challenges that will make you sweat. The minibosses are really hilarious and even on normal difficulty they present a challenge. Unfortunately the game is very short and straightforward. I recommend buying it on sale for about under 10€, for the price it is a great piece.

7.5 / 10.0 - Among Us
Jul 3, 2021

Among us is a nice cooperative fun. It requires a combination of your gaming skills and you must be able to communicate with others, read between the lines, think logically and lie perfectly. We really appreciate the novel idea for this computer game, however, we cannot forgive the developers for neglecting this game. It could still be at the height of its glory if they had taken more care of it, as we have seen new content very late. Also, we don't recommend playing without friends you get to know, as it's not the best experience without them. We also appreciate the work of the community, they help keep this game going through various parodies, songs, fanart, and even movies. Among Us is highly recommended, but again we put it on your heart to never play it alone, just have a few friends.

Esports Life Tycoon is a fairly decent unpretentious Tycoon simulator from the computer games environment. The game manages to entertain for a couple of hours before it starts to give a strong stereotypical impression. The user interface is rather slow and feels unintuitive. Overall, the game had a dull and bland feel to me - just a good idea and good potential, but it didn't live up to expectations.

6.5 / 10.0 - Maneater
Jun 29, 2021

Maneater is a shark RPG that took me to a beautiful underwater world where I could enjoy an action-packed and brutal shark brawl. The flipside of the game is the amount of minor bugs and a very weak story. Moreover, the price of the game definitely does not match the gameplay experience.

7 / 10.0 - Hell Let Loose
Jun 29, 2021

On Steam, Hell Let Loose costs €29.99. Although the actual content is about a third of what the developers promised, the price is adequate for the current form. It's worth remembering that the game is still in Early Access and therefore subject to further expansion. To the initial question "What is it like to be an expendable soldier in World War II?" while this title won't answer it yet, if Post Scriptum is too much of a strategy game and Battlefield is too much of an arcade game for you, this is a happy medium.

Jun 27, 2021

Spacebase Startopia is more than a good title to take on the role of a space station commander. Your task then will be nothing else but to provide all the needs of your visitors. What we have to highlight about the game is the extensive management, where you have to keep an eye on everything from the needs of your guests to the satisfaction of your employees. We must also praise the attractive graphics complemented by a great soundtrack and we must not forget the humorous atmosphere. The title is a little bit killed by the too simple campaign, which can be easily completed in a few hours without much challenge, and also by the higher price tag, which in our opinion does not fully correspond to the quality the title offers. Still, Spacebase Startopia will find many fans and if you can get over the higher price tag and invite a friend to play, the title can keep you entertained for a few long evenings.

7.5 / 10.0 - Don't Be Afraid
Jun 27, 2021

Don't be afraid evokes a very good horror atmosphere and will definitely make you scared. If you don't, you'll have a heart attack at least once. The puzzles that await you and the varied selection of monsters are also an advantage. However, sometimes it's harder to move along in the story, so you just walk around and squeeze everything that comes to hand. The game builds up nicely and over time you get really nauseous, either due to the story or the environment, which is sometimes gory, sometimes even brutal. However, we have to criticize it for minor bugs and the fact that the gameplay style is quite repetitive. A huge plus are the alternate endings to the story, which change, and therefore depend very much on how you pay attention to details. Don't Be Afraid is therefore recommended if you want to be scared and get uncomfortable chills.

7.5 / 10.0 - Pumpkin Jack
Jun 26, 2021

Pumpkin Jack is an intriguing Halloween one-hander that, even with a low-budget production, showcases incredible quality, fun and an unexpected challenge. From the workshop of one young developer came a great game boasting the mechanics and feel of those old titles from the nineties. The question is whether it will have the same positive resonance with the younger generation, for whom the title may be a little harder. As much as I enjoyed this quest to plunge the world into darkness, I probably won't repeat it again right away, especially due to some technical issues that made the gameplay experience slightly unpleasant. Even so, the negatives listed below are largely due to the fact that only one person worked on the game.
