In conclusion, Knockout Home Fitness is a perfect title for those who want to work out without leaving home, as well as a great alternative for those who don't want to shell out $70 for Ring Fit Adventure. With plenty of different exercises and encouraging the player to come back every day, the game is that push you need to start changing your habits.

WarioWare: Get it Together! is a great return to the franchise and also a great addition to the Nintendo Switch's First Parties catalog, accompanied by a good OST, and creative or simply bizarre visuals at the same time. The game brings a great and addictive experience, especially if played with a friend, although alone it can end up being repetitive easily if you don't like the style of the microgames in the main mode.

8.5 / 10.0 - Spelunky 2
Sep 18, 2021

Spelunky 2 expands on everything the first one did, it has more content, visible gameplay improvements, more mechanics, and most importantly, still a lot of frustrating moments, with even more sudden and instant deaths that can bother the player more than before, and even make the experience a little more repetitive with obstacles that seem to repeat themselves quite a lot in some levels. But it is still an excellent rogue-like, and a great sequel to everything the original represented.

8 / 10.0 - No More Heroes 3
Sep 12, 2021

No More Heroes III marks the end of the No More Heroes franchise. It is perhaps the only one in the franchise that manages to serve as a direct sequel to everything the first one did in terms of themes and language. Embracing incoherence, the trash and kitsch, Suda made a punk statement about everything he sees wrong with the art/spectator relationship, transforming this reality into a caricature. His most audacious and risky game since Flower Sun and Rain, it is easily misunderstood and criticized precisely for the flaws that Suda wants to expose to ridicule here. It is a story made to be hated, for being an ironic hyperbole of everything that is most horrible in the contemporary cultural market. The unfortunate thing is that No More Heroes 1 communicated this much better, making the existence of the third game kinda pointless.

9 / 10.0 - Spelunky
Sep 10, 2021

Spelunky is exactly what a roguelike should be: challenging, addictive, and full of secrets to discover. Whether you play alone or in a group, it will keep you engaged for hours without even noticing the time passing by. Almost all the time, the player will be discovering new things while exploring and dying a lot in the mines. The only downside being that there are various moments of frustration where we suffer from deaths that really didn't seem fair.

Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle Remastered and Soul Nomad & the World Eaters make for a great pair of classic games for the first volume of a collection. They are games that share the same gameplay style but bring their own particularities in terms of mechanics and narrative. Despite being titles that haven't aged very well, and that haven't even received a good re-release treatment, they are still great games that deserve to reach more players.

10 / 10.0 - Bustafellows
Aug 27, 2021

The Fixers, as our group of protagonists calls themselves, make up one of the most interesting casts of relationship-based games I've ever played. The lighthearted way in which the deep and shocking themes are handled captivated me from start to finish. The pacing is impeccable, and the overall experience is incredibly immersive.

7 / 10.0 - Cris Tales
Aug 14, 2021

Cris Tales is a pleasant surprise in many ways, the game surprises with its scale, execution and beautiful visuals. It doesn't reach the level of classics of the genre, but it has inspiration and a lot of effort behind it. After finishing the game, the feeling that remains is that I experienced a different but engaging journey, filled with characters and colorful worlds that leave a positive mark. I recommend it mainly for fans of turn-based RPGs, but I ask that you stay tuned for possible updates for the Nintendo Switch version, which currently suffers from loads that interrupt and harms the rhythm of the game.

6 / 10.0 - Button City
Aug 9, 2021

Button City is a short game with good ideas and good moments but ultimately offers little with its content. I believe that those with a strong nostalgia for arcades or even children can have fun with the game, but overall it is an unremarkable experience. Despite this, let's be clear: it is possible to see a visible commitment from the development team to create something unique and fun, with more experience, it is possible that the studio will deliver something even better in the future.

10 / 10.0 - Samurai Warriors 5
Jul 26, 2021

Even in that cozy couch co-op, Samurai Warriors 5 on Nintendo Switch performs wonderfully. It makes you feel comfortable asking for help to get through that objective-filled level you couldn't handle on your own. Thanks to the console's hybrid design, you can play anywhere without compromising the fun. And with all this quality in its favor, Samurai Warriors 5 holds the title of best musou game available for the Nintendo Switch family of consoles at this moment.

If you're not afraid to play something weird and off the beaten path, and if you're not afraid to go down a rabbit hole that might just turn into one of your favorite games — or one of the weirdest games you've ever played — The Silver Case 2425 is for you, delivering everything it promises and loads more.

Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed is a good game that manages to entertain players a lot and presents a really cool story. However, Acquire made a big mistake when deciding not to invest much in the remaster. The game is full of problems that greatly hinder the experience and make it impossible to recommend, especially for the asking price.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD continues the tradition of great titles in the Zelda franchise. Even 10 years after its original release, the game still manages to be very good, offering an extremely interesting narrative and a very peculiar gameplay that will please both veterans and newcomers.

Mario Golf: Super Rush is an extremely fun experience, as expected from a Mario sports game. The ideas that Camelot puts forward are interesting and work, creating yet another must-have multiplayer for the Nintendo Switch. If you are not used to playing with friends, the game may leave something to be desired with the amount of content, it is up to you to decide whether the promise of future updates is a valid exchange, there is always the option of waiting for the game to become more complete before buying it at launch.

Few Switch games can offer an intense yet satisfying portable experience like Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2. The title is definitely one of those skateboarding games that is made to be played anywhere in the world, whether on your TV at home or in a mall food court. Although the sacrifices required for the port to exist on the hybrid console are quite notable, those in no way sacrifice the soul of the game — which has remained young and radical from the 1990s to the present day.

7 / 10.0 - Legend of Mana
Jul 3, 2021

Legend of Mana is a simple but unusual RPG, the non-linear progression, the combat, the stories, in every corner the game presents something peculiar, and this ends up being the best and worst of the game. The oddities make it a charming and standout experience, difficult to find in other games, on the other hand, it brings strange decisions that make progress difficult without a guide. For those who played the original and want to relive some moments, I believe that this re-release will serve them very well, bringing the game faithfully but with some improvements. For new players, it is necessary to understand the context that surrounds it and be interested in the mechanics. It seems to me like the kind of experience that can lead to one of two feelings: either you fall in love with the game's quirky approach or you simply consider it an average game.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection has some of the best and most influential games in the genre, but on the other hand, it also has Ninja Gaiden 3. Ideally, you could buy the first two games separately for a lower price, but that's unfortunately not possible. It's a bit disappointing how only one version of each game is available, but despite this, the first two games remain two of the best action games of the 6th and 7th generations of video games.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is an epic adventure about determination and resilience, with all the silly and questionable humor that only Disgaea has to offer. It masterfully captures the essence of the series, while also trying to innovate within the franchise itself. The mechanics of Super Reincarnation may not reinvent the wheel, but they are very well executed within the narrative context and gameplay. It was fun to follow Zed and the charismatic cast of characters around him, all memorable and unique.

DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power is an incredibly fun experience that will keep you entertained for hours. The systems integration and attention to detail make it feel like nothing was left to chance; it's incredibly well-designed and definitely worth a try for that reason alone.
