Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection could have offered more new features and improvements because – as much as it pains me to say this – it's a product of its time. The game emulation has some technical problems that can be fixed in the long term, as does the online mode, which was what disappointed me most in this game. The choice of titles could also have been more selective and robust. But, given the problems I faced, in the end, the high point of this collection, at least for now, is the fact that it's a kind of interactive documentary. And, for me, that's perfectly fine!

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a lesson learned from all the work done adapting popular series into musou games. It not only draws from its predecessor, but also makes good choices considering the best aspects introduced in these productions in recent years.

7.5 / 10.0 - Forestrike
Nov 16, 2025

Despite its flaws, I still believe Forestrike holds great value. The art is beautiful, simulating the shanshui style of the Ming dynasty, the combat is truly engaging, and I see a strong fit with players who enjoy SIFU, not only because of the theme but also because of the central ideas surrounding both titles.

10 / 10.0 - Stray Children
Nov 14, 2025

Not much in Stray Children is particularly new, but what isn't, is extremely well-made, managing to mark a grand evolution of the genre. It would be very easy to write a headline like "Stray Children is Undertale on steroids, much bigger and better," but the reality is that Stray Children is far beyond a simple Undertale clone, managing to be a completely original game that will certainly stay with me for many years.

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake brings excellent new versions of two very important classics in the history of the genre. Square Enix managed to continue the wonderful work done in DQIII HD-2D Remake and introduced very good new features and improvements, modernizing two classics for current platforms. Despite some hiccups with DQI, the package itself is highly recommended for fans of the genre and veterans of the franchise.

Atelier Ryza Trilogy DX features three captivating adventures that defy those who think its popularity comes solely from a young woman with an appealing design. All the games are of undeniable quality. They are made with love, designed for both old-school fans and new adventurers. Above all, they are accessible and modern games, and although different from their predecessors in composition, they are still Atelier in body and soul.

9 / 10.0 - Yakuza Kiwami
Nov 12, 2025

The original Yakuza Kiwami port for the Switch achieved good results given its hardware limitations, but the superiority of this native Switch 2 version is undeniable. Players will find a great experience worthy of the PlayStation 2 classic, but of course, if you haven't upgraded yet, the previous version is also great.

9 / 10.0 - Yakuza Kiwami 2
Nov 12, 2025

Yakuza Kiwami 2 makes me believe in ports of the entire series on the Switch due to the use of the current graphics engine, even though this entire multiplatform expansion of the series after being stuck for several years in exclusivity with PlayStation seems like a dream. I believe that the more people who have access to it [the series], the better, and this game is a very good release in the franchise overall, considering its importance in laying the groundwork for titles released later.

Tales of Xillia has so many strengths and so many weaknesses, inherent to that era of video games in general, which I feel a lot of nostalgia for, and even without having had prior contact with the Tales series, that's what I felt throughout my entire playthrough, and I was transported to a past time.

Mistonia's Hope: The Lost Delight is a beautiful otome game, but one that values plot suspense over romance. The way the routes are structured makes you want to know even more, and the art and voice acting are wonderful, with perhaps the only problem I had being how easy it is for the game to overload you with information and not have a way to review it outside of the dictionary. Unfortunately, the translation also has some small issues, but if you are able to correct the errors in your head, as I did, what awaits you is a plot full of unexpected twists, and maybe even a little kiss scene at the end of it all.

With good characters, satisfying gunplay, and an addictive rogue-like gameplay loop, FULL METAL SCHOOLGIRL is a good choice for those who value gameplay, even though the aesthetics are repetitive (albeit stylish) and the progression is slow and demanding.

8.5 / 10.0 - QQQbeats!!!
Nov 1, 2025

QQQbeats!!! is a unique puzzle experience with rhythm elements that, despite some moments that deserved to be clearer, has an infectious energy. It's the type of game that demands a lot of effort to learn how to play well, but can become a big addiction for those who dedicate themselves to it.

10 / 10.0 - BALL x PIT
Oct 31, 2025

BALL x PIT is one of those games that are initially difficult to understand. The strange combination of varied gameplay mechanics seems somewhat daunting for beginners at first, but don't be too discouraged. None of us are fully prepared for the wonderful bizarreness of the game.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is a fun game and an excellent way to start the series on the Nintendo Switch 2. The gameplay innovations are very good, and the combat system is the most fun the franchise has to offer so far.

8 / 10.0 - Majogami
Oct 29, 2025

Honestly, I don't know if I'm overrating the game's overall quality in this text, but the truth is that Majogami entertained me quite a bit. It's not that the game moves mountains or does anything radically different from what we already have in the industry, but the composition of the elements works incredibly well; the combination of fun combat, a unique aesthetic, and captivating characters results in something that's truly worth investing my time in.

8.5 / 10.0 - Two Point Museum
Oct 27, 2025

Even with the port's sacrifices, Two Point Museum is still an excellent game: rich in variety, beautifully comedic, and with an engaging loop that will keep fans of the genre engaged for a long time, especially with the steady stream of updates. Playing in handheld mode is undoubtedly the best way to experience the title, making it one of the games that will surely make up the wide range of games of this genre for Nintendo's new hybrid console.
