The Path of Motus is pretty to look at and has some good ideas, but it fails in its execution throughout, its story too simplistic for adults, and its gameplay too difficult for children.
Overall, I will have to say that Runbow has impressed me with its gameplay and simplicity, and all I need now are more friends to play video games with.
Mothergunship is a skillfully molded combination of first-person shooter and bullet hell that exudes chaos with over the top, larger than life weapons and fast-paced action.
The most frustrating thing about Earthfall is that it squanders its potential at every turn.
Danger Zone 2 is a strong sequel to Danger Zone.
Aside from those differences, the game… is basically Terraria. Unfortunately, the game doesn't have the massive variety and polish of Terraria's crafting system, doesn't have the interesting biomes of Terraria, doesn't have the crazy enemies of Terraria, and it doesn't make allusions to Lovecraftian horror. That isn't to say Dig or Die isn't fun. It is. I had a legitimately good time playing it, and that should mean something.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a fantastic game and a must-play for anyone that enjoys puzzle-platformers.
Red Faction: Guerrilla was one of my favorite games in childhood, but after playing through it with fresh eyes I'm able to see the issues I didn't pick up as a kid: the story isn't memorable, the combat is lackluster, and the large open world isn't full of many interesting things to do.
This kind of RPG may not be for everybody, but it is one thousand percent for me. If you too long to recapture what I've described, you would be a fool to turn down Octopath Traveler.
In the end, despite all of the extra customization, RPG elements and other details, Bus Simulator 18 still gets to be boring after a few hours.
Having played Supercross, there was a major sense of deja vu with this game. To be honest, once I was racing it was impossible to tell which game I was playing. No doubt, zealots of these games would know instantly by location, driver, and bikes. For me, it was more of the same and so my initial excitement level was much lower when I started racing with MXGP Pro.
Even with all its flaws, Seeking Dawn is definitely deserving of your attention.
Overall, the entire story felt a bit hollow. I had no reason to connect to anything in the game. Nothing in the story was explored in depth. The hotel as a set-piece was wasted. The whole narrative was shallow. The game shows potential, but it is so incohesive and unimpressive that it flounders as a whole.
Whether you're new to the game or coming back for more, Sonic Mania Plus is worth your time and attention.
There's a lot of fun be had here, a great challenge for those looking for a new retro-style platformer like this to take on, but 20XX never truly finds that "retro" charm. Instead, it's a new idea pretending to be a retro experience, and the more astute players out there will be able to sniff it right out.
This is a perfect game for VR neophytes and children, as well as those that like puzzle/3D platforming style of games.
Shining Resonance Refrain plays like a pretty standard yet extremely solid JRPG. Despite the slow beginning, the story is interesting and extremely well thought out. The characters are likable and the graphics are beautiful. And it has a good combat system that's easy to pick up and yet varied enough to keep the player's attention along with a whole new added story with Refrain mode.
Truth be told, I had a great time with Gray Dawn.
Overall, Dream Alone brims with potential but falls slightly short in multiple areas.
The technical shortcomings do have me hesitant to recommend this over the other versions if you have the means to play them, but if the Switch is the only console you have, you'll still get your money's worth, without a doubt.
