Hitman 3 cements itself as one of the best stealth-action games on the market. With lessons learned from the first two games and the ability to import all of those levels into 3, it’s hard-pressed to find a game with as much attention to detail and freedom as this one.

Hitman 3 is an early game of the year contender for me. It really is the ultimate stealth sandbox and one that any fan of the genre should check out. IO Interactive has taken their skills to the next level and I cannot wait to see what they do with the 007 license.

Whilst nog being the most revolutionary entry in the series, Hitman 3 truly does deliver the best the new trilogy has to offer. With six stunning and diverse locations, plenty of opportunities to kill and all the finetuning, Hitman feels better than ever before. There are some minor technical flaws and bugs, but overall Hitman 3 is a worthy ending of this modern Hitman-era.

Hitman 3 might not offer a lot of new things at first glance, but the new locations are some of the more interesting in the trilogy and the series, and the game still proves that - in terms of gameplay - it has basically no rival. It's a shame that the story isn't very good and that the last location is, in comparison to the other ones, small and linear.

Hitman 3 does not reinvent the wheel, nor does it redefine the series. Instead, it tweaks and enriches the excellent gameplay of the previous two games of the World of Assassination trilogy, to offer a truly excelent experience.

Hitman III is a well-constructed assassination sandbox with incredible maps, deep customisation, and some funky outfits.

Hitman 3 is the definitive way to play the modern Hitman games, simply import the previous two games and experience them all at a locked 60fps on the PS5. The six locations are all very different, offering many ways to progress and lots of creative methods of killing people – there’s never a dull moment in the world of Hitman. The developers are continually providing Elusive Targets, Timed Events and Escalations, as well as allowing people to make and distribute their own contracts to prolong gameplay – you’ll end up getting many, many hours of entertainment out of this game. Hitman 3 is the best death-based sandbox game I’ve ever played.

"Hitman 3" proves to be a successful stealth game and concludes the successful series about the hitman with dignity. Veterans of the series will immediately get into the third part and enjoy the entertaining missions, the black humor and the hidden Easter Eggs. Hitman 3" undoubtedly deserves the highest mark for its level design, which contributed significantly to the incomparable atmosphere of the game. It's simply fun to explore the winding areas in order to eliminate the next target with even more perfection. Nevertheless, it can't be denied that "Hitman 3" with its six main missions is undoubtedly no scope bombast. In addition, the game lacks any real innovations, so a certain routine will creep in very quickly, especially for pros. All in all, fans of the Hitman series and lovers of perfidious stealth games will undoubtedly find the right game fodder in "Hitman 3".

Hitman 3, but generally the whole game trilogy, is an appealing videogaming experience for all lovers of the genre but also for all the other players out there. We are looking at a very high quality standard, a game that is easily a point of reference for the genre, but also an experiment of entertainment divided in chapters that might just work halfway: the risk is the loss of the story’s guiding thread of the trilogy throughout the chapters. The three games seem to create a bigger and longer game which sometimes might feel repetitive in the long run.

From an insane amount of replayability in missions, and maps that showcase how much IO Interactive has evolved; it is clear Hitman 3 ends off the trilogy with a bang. There are so many facets and features working expertly together to produce what could be called the ‘definitive Hitman experience’. The game serves around 10 hours of gameplay for a single pass and hundreds more for players who love going through and figuring out what other creative ways there are to get rid of 47’s marks. Thankfully, whether players go through it once or a hundred times, the vistas will never disappoint. Sound can sometimes get in the way of immersion, but thankfully the world itself is expertly crafted. The leap in the console generation serves the franchise well by giving the game the exact amount of horsepower it needs. The result is a great sendoff for the trilogy and an incredible starting point for any new players.

Hitman 3’s heavy focus on story might be a turn off for some, but it still manages to wrap the trilogy featuring some of the best maps and it shows how much IO Interactive evolved during its development. It’s the game that begs you to embrace chaos and don’t care for the consequences – as long as the objective is fulfilled, of course.

Much like Agent 47, Hitman 3 appeals to those willing to craft their skills to perfection. Mastering every level can require thorough exploration of the environment and a grasp of how NPC’s behave. If you’re one of those who crave that experience, then Hitman 3 has our full recommendation.

Hitman 3 is another one of those in the best way possible. It wraps up the World of Assassination trilogy nicely by keeping to what makes the series great while also diving deeper into the story. Now is the best time to visit or revisit this trilogy, and the future is bright for IO Interactive.

Hitman 3, the final game in IO Interactive’s “World of Assassination” trilogy doesn’t deviate from its two immediate predecessors in any major ways. Its gameplay isn’t liable to surprise anybody who has experienced what the semi-rebooted approach to the Hitman franchise has to offer. Instead, its adjustments to the overall formula are more subtle in nature, but the effects are substantial. That said, anybody who decides to jump into the trilogy via its third entry will discover a game that is, arguably, the best title in a series that has differentiated itself from both shooters and stealth games since the 2016 episodic release of Hitman.
