If you’re like me and played many JRPGs, then you’d often know what to expect from them. A world-ending/dramatic plot, playing as some sort of chosen one, as well as a focus on combat. Well, throw your expectations away as that isn’t really the case here. The Atelier franchise, developed by Gust, is an expansive series that currently encompasses 22 main games. It sets itself apart from most others in the genre with its focus on alchemy, crafting, and time management.
Atelier Mysterious Trilogy DX is a brilliant package that makes for a wonderful return to three excellent titles, as well as a great starting point for newcomers to the series.
In closing; if you’re a fan of fetch quest heavy old-school JRPG’s and cute anime girls doing cute stuff, then Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack is right up your alley. I had a lot of fun playing them.
The Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack, featuring Atelier Sophie, Firis, and Lydie & Suelle is a generous package full of wholesome, homely storytelling and simplistic wonder. These are worth a look for any fan of the series, but do they manage to do anything more with their recent re-release?
If crafting is your thing, you probably won't be disappointed with Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack. In the end, I still enjoy this series as a JRPG fan, even though there are grind issues.
Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack is a collection of good games, but it suffers a little with a lack of purpose for its existence and few improvements were made to the games themselves. It still stands on the quality of the titles themselves, but it is a difficult game to recommend due to the high price and a launch so close to another game in the same franchise.

The Atelier Mysterious Deluxe Trilogy is a comprehensive way to experience Atelier's lighthearted roleplaying brand with a touch of whimsy.
Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack is a wonderful collection of 3 excellent games with oodles of additional content. If you still haven't played these delightful RPGs then you need to add this compilation to your collection.
The Trilogy Deluxe Pack of Mysterious series has its own ups and downs like any other game in the series, but it can still entertain those who have a passion for crafting.

Despite offering an experience that needs to be faced with an open mind, Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack is still a curious collection that may well win over new fans for the franchise. If you like turn-based RPGs and time management mechanics, chances are you'll end up enjoying this journey a lot. If you are more demanding and looking for great stories, then it might be better to get away.

If you haven't played the games before, it's hard to deny the sheer amount of content in the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack.
Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack servers as a premium experience for fans of the Atelier franchise offering three classic games with all the bonus content.
In conclusion, the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack has a ton of value and content to play through for newcomers to these games. If you played these three titles on PlayStation 4 already then I’m not sure the little bit of new content and quality-of-life improvements are a big enough reason to rush out and play them right away again. For brand-new players looking for more Atelier to sink their teeth into though this is an easy recommend as you get three very interesting stories full of likeable characters, over a hundred hours of gameplay content, and lots of alchemy to mess around with.
The Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack is great for original fans and newcomers, all the added DLC and new features really improve the overall experience in each of the games. They all have something different to offer, that will satisfy different types of players. Like previous Atelier games the synthesising system is very daunting and can be confusing for newcomers. The game does try to explain the system but I feel it needs a much more detailed tutorial for players to understand all the ins and outs. But players shouldn't give the games a miss as they are great JRPGs to add to your collections.
Absolutely stuffed to the hilt with twee, waifu JRPG goodness, the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy DX Pack represents a heady offering that will keep the uninitiated busy for well over a hundred hours and change. For everyone else however that has already plumbed the depths of the three games in this pack, this trio of bundled charming adventures will have little to offer, even in light of the additional DLC included with each game.
Atelier Mysterious Trilogy DX is the lowest point of the franchise. While Lydie & Suelle present a better structured game, the first two try to experiment with the formula, but end up making problematic design decisions. Firism, in particular, has a nasty bug that can prevent the player from taking the final exam. Fans of the series are likely to have fun with the titles in their own way, but the new edition is also not justified for those who originally played the trilogy.

Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack brings the best of the franchise to a brand new console. Atelier Sophie is an iconic piece of the series with a brand new lease on life, Atelier Firis has unique exploration gameplay that hasn't been attempted in any other entry, and the new story content in Atelier Lyde & Suelle is a delight for longtime fans. These games have never looked better, and are a must-play for anyone interested in the Atelier series.
If you already own the original games as well as their DLC, then the new content in Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack is unlikely to be enough to make you want to splash out again, as none of it drastically changes the original experience. However, if this is your first time playing them, then this Atelier trilogy is fairly easy to recommend. It's quite a varied collection, and it's great to see the developer really experiment with the series' core gameplay mechanics. All three games will send you on a very different adventure, but each of them has a great group of characters for you to fall in love with.
Is Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack right for you? Probably. Each of these three games offers up a content-rich and enjoyable story that should take you a few dozen hours to see through. On the other hand, the slower paced slice-of-life vibe isn't for everyone and the game elements beyond the robust crafting system can feel a little simplistic sometimes. Either way, it's tough to argue against the value on offer here, and we'd recommend that you at least try one of these titles if you don't spring for the whole trilogy.
