The FF7 Remake is a masterpiece, and the fact that it's actually playable on a Nintendo console is incredible. It's been almost 6 years since the game came out, but it still holds up, and the visuals are stunning in both docked and handheld modes.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake's latest ports are superb on both the Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. Despite the framerate differences, both versions keep those stunning visuals and are finally letting players experience one of the best Final Fantasy games out there.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade adds significant quality-of-life improvements. The addition of the Xbox Series and Switch 2 is the cherry on top for series fans, but the icing on the cake is having an incredible RPG available on the go.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for the Nintendo Switch 2 offers a smooth and enjoyable portable experience. With all the latest content and updates, it’s hard to resist picking this up, even if you’ve already played it before. It’s the most convenient way to experience Midgar on the go.
And so we reach the end of this road and the start of a much, much longer one. As I mentioned before, I went into Final Fantasy VII Remake with little to no nostalgia at all, and I’m glad to say I came away happy with my experience. Yes, I have my complaints, mainly that the game often wasted my time unnecessarily or that the combat took too long to really get going. But I also appreciated the narrow scope of the game and the various story elements (which I won’t spoil or talk about here) had me excited to see what happened next, and of course, what happens next. Would I have been as lenient with the Midgar-centric scope if this was the only Final Fantasy VII Remake game I had for four years? That's not my reality, so who cares!
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on the Switch 2 is an impressive feat. The game is beautiful, stable, functional, and delivers the complete experience, including the DLC, on a hybrid console.

Final Fantasy VII was a masterpiece when it was first released. Its remake is an ambitious attempt at recontextualizing the classic dieselpunk adventure for modern audiences, and it's a roaring success. It's one of the great games of a generation.

FFVII Remake Intergrade Episode INTERmission (talk about a mouthful) isn't a "must-play." The story can feel derivate until some out-of-the-blue revelations occur as you're reaching the end, and the new gameplay implementations are barely explored due to the relatively short length of the DLC. However, if you're looking for a bite-sized return to Midgar accompanied by a very enthusiastic, lovable main protagonist, and a tease for what's in store once Remake Part 2 (or whatever its name ends up being) rolls around, then you'll find plenty to enjoy with INTERmission.
INTERmission is a tremendous but short addendum that sets up the next installment with many exciting possibilities.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is one of the best works of Square Enix, and it’s worth considerable time and constant requests from fans. The entire bundle overflows with remarkable minutes of life united with a complex dynamic fighting frame and soundtrack which supplements all conceivable circumstances.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a must-have on Steam for fans of the original, regardless of how one may feel about the average port job.
Where Final Fantasy VII Remake just missed some points to be a masterpiece in our eyes, the Intergrade DLC elevates quite a bit. Hopefully Square Enix will be able to keep that up, and they will be able to curb the length of the next two games. Still, we enjoyed ourselves for the most part, and the interesting and special story of the base game manages to hold us enough to get us all the way through the game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a port with deleterious issues on several levels. And its narrative restructuring, while better developing some main characters, also follows new directions that leave “fleas behind the ears”, in addition to introducing new characters and some unpublished scenes of little use. However, the balance is much more positive. This RPG is a must for fans of the franchise and the genre in general, and is also recommended, with reservations, for those who are fans of the PlayStation original in particular.

While the pace does drag a bit once you make your way to Shinra Headquarters, things pick up in a big way towards the finale, bringing all of the game's standout features back to the forefront. It all coalesces into a thrilling and heartfelt experience that will satisfy longtime fans of the franchise, and while I do wish there was a bigger emphasis on story and character, at times, I still had a blast returning to this world and spending time with this delightful duo, and Remake's second chapter can't get here soon enough.
Despite a conversion certainly not too elaborate, the PC version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade becomes the best place to enjoy the new epic of Cloud and company.

A faulty and barebones PC port of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, which was originally released on the PlayStation 5.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is a great opportunity to introduce you to one of the most important RPGs in history. The graphic and technical aspect is spectacular and the combat system is a marvel. Some decisions in the level design take it away from being a masterpiece, but it is not far off.
