After The Fall Reviews
I'm having a wonderful time with After the Fall - Complete Edition as it brings me back to the good old zombie-shooting arcade days and I can't wait to enjoy it multiplayer with other genre fans so look for me online and we can explode zombie heads together.
After the Fall plays great on the PS5, I have no complaints about the performance or visuals at all. It is thoroughly engaging, addicting, and a blast to play from start to finish.
After the Fall: Complete Edition proves to be a good cooperative FPS, always fun and satisfying, although with a very simple formula.

After the Fall will scratch any Left 4 Dead itch you may have by offering a remarkable VR shooter that excels when you get a group together.
After the Fall, even with its good things, is a title that needs more content and improvements in its gameplay.

After the Fall is a fine VR-shooter if you're up for blasting some zombies with your friends. The gunplay is good and the Snowbreeds that are coming to kill you will haunt your nightmares. It's a shame the game lacks variety and is pretty short to boot.

I like Left 4 Dead clones, and I love VR. It was made by a developer with previous experience in both, so I figured it had a good chance of being quite fun. Even then though, the game still impressed on every level. Game design, both in gameplay and graphics, did exactly what they set out to do. Is it particularly innovative or forward thinking? Not really, but at the same time that’s not what I signed up for. If you want a fun atmospheric VR Left 4 Dead clone with solid gameplay and a decent spread of content and replayability? Then After the Fall is your game.
Worth buying if you have a VR crew, but don’t buy a headset for it unless you want to die alone like me.
When it comes to the PSVR version of the game, at its present state, more than 20 days post-release, there are still too many problems for this to be a game we can recommend. With that, if you are a PC or Oculus user, After the Fall is a fun time with both friends and strangers. It is a shame there are so many problems because After the Fall could have been one of the best PSVR games to come out in 2021.
If you’re a fan of Left 4 Dead and VR shooters, then After The Fall comes easily recommended. Its cross-platform co-op is an absolute blast regardless of which platform you’re playing on. And when it comes to replay value, the game’s loot and upgrade systems will keep you coming back for more as you work to craft the ultimate arsenal of zombie-killing hardware. Still, I can’t help but wish the game had just a little bit more to offer players out of the gate. Depending on which difficulty you choose, you can barrel through the game’s five stages in just a few hours. And with just a handful of zombie types to encounter, things can start to feel a little repetitive after a while. Still, if you’re looking for Left 4 Dead-style thrills on your favorite headset, After The Fall is as close as you’re going to get, and a solid addition to any VR gamer’s library.
