Minecraft Legends Reviews
Minecraft Legends is a real time strategy game with a Minecraft skin for people who don't or rarely play RTS's to begin with. However, if you're a fan of Minecraft or want to play with the family, go for it!
Minecraft Legends is another spin-off that tried to provide a unique experience that sadly has same old issues. In fact, it can be said that Legends is something that fans of minecraft will enjoy, but it cannot attract new audience. If you are looking for a fun strategic experience and you are also interested in the world of Minecraft, Legends can be a good choice and bring you 7 or 8 hours of entertainment.

A disappointing strategy game based on Minecraft IP with tiring gameplay and a myriad of awkward design decisions.

Minecraft Legends may look and feel like an authentic spinoff, but with fiddly controls, contrived and repetitive gameplay design, in addition lackluster AI, it's only worth delving into for younger audiences and staunch Minecraft fans.
Minecraft Legends falls short of the quality and depth of its predecessor and leaves much to be desired for those seeking a more complex and strategic challenge.

While it is true that there are things that can be improved, Minecraft Legends is a good game, with everything you need to get hooked during the 25-20 hours that its campaign lasts, which added to the replayability offered by its procedural world can ensure hours and hours of play. Not highlighting anything makes everything work and fun to play, even more so when you already have everything under control. I can do nothing but recommend that you try Minecraft Legends, even more so when it will be available on Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release.

Minecraft Legends looks like Minecraft and somewhat feels like it, as you would probably expect, but it really does play like its own proper game with the action strategy elements - even if it doesn't quite match the depth of certain other titles within the strategy genre. Overall, Mojang and Blackbird Interactive have done a good job adapting this mega video game IP to yet another category, and have definitely provided a fun multiplayer experience, despite some learning curves which might be a challenge for younger Minecraft fans and newcomers. This is a welcome introduction to the strategy genre and is worth a look if you're seeking more adventures in the Minecraft universe.
While the tactical options are more limited when playing solo, Minecraft Legends is a blast to play. Pick it up if you are a Minecraft fan or if you just want to have fun playing a chill game with a friend.
Purely block-based Minecraft world returns, but with a truly unexpected, sometimes tiny bit shallow, RTS twist. This tactical adventure is bright, saturated, full of fresh ideas and with its PVP/co-op content, crafted especially for you and your fellow builders. It's time to grab your gaming tools, gather the resources and mount your favourite animal, because this minecart joyride is supposedly only the beginning!

Minecraft Legends feels like the legitimate child of Pikmin and Minecraft, though its neither as good. There are some fun battles but the game falls victim to its frustrations and to its simple and repetitive nature.

There's a ton of fun packed into Minecraft Legends and it certainly takes a long time to understand how it all works together but once you get over that hump, you'll end up having a wonderful time making delicious bacon out of those dastardly piglins.
Minecraft Legends might never be StarCraft II's level of a strategy title, but as a strategy/action hybrid with a multitude of unique elements, it doesn't have to be. It is, however, a triumphant exercise in combining genres and offers both a unique and rewarding experience.
Minecraft Legends presented itself as a giant world offering much space to explore its surroundings. We had various environments full of wildlife to look forward to. It was a great adventure that was supposed to leave us in awe and an excellent system for devising new strategies. But everything the game offers in its current state is more of a taste of what it could evolve into. The combat will provide fun for a while, but once you find one strategy that works, you don't need to invent anything else. That's not true of the PvP mode, which will offer some exciting battles thanks to the different players.

Minecraft Legends Review: A Few Blocks Short
Minecraft Legends artfully blends the charm of the Minecraft universe with strategy gameplay, making it an ideal entry point for fans of both genres. Although it sacrifices some of the creative freedom of its predecessors, the game compensates with streamlined, approachable mechanics, and a captivating multiplayer experience. With room for expansion and improvement, Minecraft Legends earns a well-deserved 4 out of 5 stars.
Overall, a great game for fans, but not for everyone.
Minecraft Legends doesn’t quite live up to the lofty ambitions of the game it is spun off from, as much of its potential has gone unrealized.
Minecraft Legends offers a refreshing approach to RTS, and while its campaign mode limps a bit, its co-op and PvP modes are the icing on the cake.

Minecraft Legends showcases a novel approach to the beloved universe by fusing it with the gameplay mechanics of the RTS genre, but the lack of tactical options makes it a bit too safe of a spinoff.
Minecraft's newest spin-off game features a new format while still retaining the familiar elements that players love, making it a great entry point for newcomers to the franchise.
