Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Reviews
Marvel's Spiderman 2 is a continuation on par with its predecessors with small improvements that further enhance the saga. The gameplay will be very similar to the one already seen, with the Venom suit with its particular characteristics being what will make the difference. A good story mixed with other less interesting additions such as collecting objects or less entertaining secondary missions, but they do not tarnish the whole. In addition, it has impressive graphics and a soundtrack to match, making the game a delight to behold. Without a doubt, if you are fans of Marvel and its arachnid hero, it is a game that you will enjoy for the almost 20 hours that it will last, a little more if you want to get the platinum.

Swinging around New York is still an entertaining ride, and the graceful flow of the combat still makes you feel like Spider-Man. But there’s a lot of dead weight tangled up in what ultimately feels like an underdeveloped web.
Spider-Man 2 is our prime GOTY contender. The thrilling storyline with mindblowing climax and plots, backed with completely action-packed combat with brand new abilities and fresh features, is more than we could’ve asked for. With a few bugs still needing fixing, this game is a must-play for every PlayStation owner.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 feels like natural progression for the spectacular series as Insomniac has taken the impressive elements of the original and expanded on them to create a riveting sequel.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 raises the bar for games based on comic book heroes, establishing itself as a reference in the genre. This is due to an exquisite script, consistent gameplay and an immersive environment that keeps us entertained from start to finish, from the moment we launch the first web into the air.

It’s a compact, lean adventure that feels like a summer blockbuster, deftly juggling several classic villains and two lead characters. Insomniac are at the top of their game right now, and I can’t wait to see what they do next.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is largely the most fun Spider-Man game yet, even if its story is more uneven than I would have liked. I’m hoping the next game will finally drop the stealth missions, but fighting and flying is the best it’s ever been. Insomniac clearly gets Spider-Man, and how to make these games fun, so I hope the third main title (or whatever the next smaller spin-off is) continues to build on the best parts of this sequel.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a worthy entry in the series, boasting an amazing narrative and fantastic traversal options that truly immerse the player in the world Insomniac has created, although some setbacks, namely in the stealth department bring the game down a bit.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is an extraordinary game that provides an unforgettable experience. Insomniac Games has taken care of every detail. How they have adhered to an immersive storyline and smooth movement around New York City is something wonderful. The protagonists, Peter and Miles, are different thanks to their skills, which adds depth to the gameplay. Side quests are real gems that can be touching. The game looks beautiful, although there are some uneven visual points. The soundtrack is great, although there is a lack of some memorable tunes. Despite minor bugs, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is an amazing experience.

The story is short, but it’s amazing, and it features the best features in a Spider-Man game ever. But if you’re too fussed about the story’s length, you’ll also be very impressed with the exciting side quests and activities, combat, stealth, and plenty more, giving you the most actual experience of being Spider-Man. This is, hands down, Insomniac Games‘ most outstanding project.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 skillfully improves on everything from its two predecessors and creates the ultimate adventure for any spider fan. Variety, great visuals, brute action and phenomenal movement through the city are only held back by minor technical flaws and a few inconsistencies in the story. It's definitely a must-have for every PS5 gamer in the friendly neighborhood.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a roaring success for Insomniac Games, with the sequel managing to improve upon everything that came before it in the previous titles. Sure, there’s familiarity to be found in the combat and the New York setting, but there have been enough innovations and additions made to ensure the experience still feels incredibly fresh and thrilling. Add to that the gripping story, the clever Spider-Man swapping dynamic, the traversal that looks and feels wonderful, and the sheer wealth of things to do across the varied missions, and it’ll become clear that this isn’t only the best Spider-Man game that has ever released, but also one of the best PlayStation 5 games too.
As a sequel to one of the most impressive games of its era, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was weighed down by expectations. But Insomniac Games has turned these expectations on their head, spinning a Spider-story that brims with confidence, style, and most importantly – an essential human touch.
Spider-Man 2 manages to one up the first game in every way while retaining an exciting Spider-Man story.
With Spider-Man 2, the PlayStation 5 finally has a feather to hang on its hat for this year’s big releases. It’s more of what was simply awesome about the previous games as well as its faults, which are purely subjective, as your mileage may vary when it comes to combat and open-world shenanigans. As a complete package, though, the pros more than outweigh the cons, resulting in a game that anyone with Sony’s latest console should have in their library.
A brilliant superhero game, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 largely improves on the core formula while telling the most intimate, dramatic story yet.
Spider Man 2 provided a beautiful cinematic experience, as is expected from Playstation Studios. It contains wonderful characters and an exciting adventure with continuous fun in its open world that is in New York City. Despite a lot of repetition in side activities and some technical problems, it is considered one of the best superhero games and a successful continuation of the series.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 proves why Insomniac Games is one of the better dev studios out there. Although it feels familiar, it’s still one of the better superhero games out there. One could spend hours just swinging around the city, and fighting the villains has never been as fun.
Shifting perspectives, changing abilities, and an expanded open world playground make this sequel into a bona fide blockbuster.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a standout superhero adventure with terrific character writing that, at least in my experience, is heavily bogged down by unsatisfactory performance. Bugs and crashes drastically ruined segments of progression, even in story-heavy scenarios. If I only faced the occasional softlock or crash, I wouldn’t really care, but these issues being such a constant made them impossible to overlook, doubly so with the launch patch installed.
