With familiar but still great gameplay that has a few new moves, strong presentation, and a mostly engaging story which gets better in the second half, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a crowd-pleasing blockbuster sequel that's worth playing for any superhero fan.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a culmination of superhero games in decades. Insomniac outdid themselves this time, and Spider-Man 2 is what every Spidey fan is looking for. It's such a spectacular game and an incredible sequel. Spider-Man 2 isn't just a technical feat; it's brimming with lovable characters and exhilarating combat, accompanied by a compelling and emotional story, and has a city full of activities that will get you sidetracked. Spider-Man 2 deserves a Game of the Year award.
With oodles of variety, rewarding combat, and eye-popping cinematic visuals, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is undoubtedly a game worth buying a PlayStation 5 for. It's one of the best action games ever made.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 offers flawless audiovisual presentation, a completely smooth 60 frames per second, and a dark, mature storyline that builds gradually throughout the entire campaign. Freedom to move throughout New York and its outskirts, two playable characters, a ton of upgrades, combat combos, and amazing boss battles. In my opinion, this is one of the best games ever released and one of the top titles on the PS5. You won’t find anything better.

The game is still enjoyable, and there were no major bugs that prevented me from finishing the adventure. Despite everything, it must be considered that not everything runs smoothly even with a high-end build, and the constant worry certainly did not allow me to relax and fully enjoy this porting (always better than what we unfortunately saw with The Last of Us Part 1). The main differences between the PS5 version and the PC version lie only in the visual quality, the unlocked FPS, and, probably, a few more technical problems than those present on consoles, with the hope that Insomniac will solve them as soon as possible.

Spider-Man 2 is a joyous experience to play. It’s a delight not just as a Spider-Man story, but as an action-adventure game. It reminds us how great this character can be at his best, and raises the bar for every other game in this genre that follows.
I have some mixed feelings, but as a video game, Spider-Man 2 works really well. Hopefully Nixxes can fix the random crash issues. I'd still say that the first part worked better for me.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was and still is an excellent game, capable of surpassing its predecessor in every aspect even on PC. The gameplay enhances the strengths of the previous video game iterations of Spider-Man, introducing improvements that sort out many of the critical issues of past chapters and effectively making it an experience that we can recommend without the slightest hesitation. It's a shame, however, that the porting isn't completely up to par.

If you’ve been enjoying the Insomniac Spider-Man games previously on PC, Spider-Man 2 absolutely scratches more of the same itch.
If you have played PlayStation 5, there are no urgent reasons to revisit the game now. But if this is your first time in this sequence, it is recommended that you wait for some more updates before embarking on your adventure.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s PC release boasts impactful graphical and performance enhancements that allow one of the greatest Spider-Man games to glow gold. While riddled with a few very minor performance issues, the dynamic combat and engaging narrative slings this game to the top of my favourite Action/Adventure games.
Spider-Man 2 is a fantastic game, sadly, the PC version at this point in time, is not the best way to play. That is not to say it won’t eventually be, there have already been two patches and I suspect after a couple more this will be the ultimate way to play one of the best blockbusters in recent memory. So if you missed Spider-Man 2 on PS5, the PC version will be a great way to experience it, just not yet. I just wish Sony would learn from their mistakes and stop these sorts of releases from happening, but sadly their PC port rollercoaster just keeps on rolling.
Unfortunately, technical problems limit the perfection that Nixxes Software had offered in previous games in the series
