Enter the Gungeon Reviews
Enter the Gungeon is a very solid Bullet Hell-Roguelite. While it does relatively little new things in terms of gameplay, it combines traditional features in a fresh matter and underlines them with its own unique and quirky charm.
Enter The Gungeon is nigh-on perfect. The hits are fine, the gunplay is wonderful, the animation and designs are fantastic, and it really needs to be picked up and played by anybody who isn’t looking for something really casual.
If you’re an XBOX One owner it’s hard to not recommend this title. You know a game is great when you can’t imagine the type of person that wouldn’t enjoy it.
The poor performance hinders the core gameplay too much for the Xbox One edition to be anything more than the worst version of an otherwise great game.
With a low purchase price and a co-op option, this game should be on just about anyone's purchase list
Don't sleep on this game, it mixes the old with the new for a quality package worth shelling out the bullets for.
All in all, Enter the Gungeon is an enjoyable little indie game in a similar vein to The Binding of Issac, yet is different enough to be set apart from it's counterpart in many ways - The difficulty, the variety, and the god-damn puns are more than enough to satiate any Binding of Issac naysayers, and will keep you challenged for over 30 hours or more! I would rate Enter the Gungeon an 8.5 / 10.
Enter the Gungeon is a lot of fun to play, and it will keep busy for hours as you try to get all the available trophies – and yes, this one does include a Platinum trophy! And just so you know, you'll easily be spending over 100 hours during your Platinum run, so be ready! I was never bored as I played for my Enter the Gungeon review, and I'm sure you'll be enjoying every minute of your time with this one. I highly recommend giving the game a go.
I love action movies. Not all of them, but the good action movies. Those that are simple, but intense; hat have so much charisma that one manages to connect within a few minutes of seeing them. And it's weird, because one would expect the same to be said about those games labeled as "action": those centered on spectacle, in taking us to past wars, future wars and other less important wars. Nonetheless, that hasn't happened to me in some time. In fact, the only that those famous titles have to show are... weapons.

A pixelated slice of bullet heaven
Enter the Gungeon may seem too hard of a game to enjoy and may drive off a lot of gamers, but it's definitely on the top list for us. For one, the level of challenge it poses might be too high but the players are rewarded accordingly. It is a good time-killer because every run is just as fast-paced and action-packed as the last one, be it just a few minutes short or a full run of around an hour.
More unlockable merchants and the possibility to open up shortcuts to lower levels of the Gungeon keep me hooked on the quirky Roguelike - despite dying at least a hundred times over the course of the game.

Enter the Gungeon is roguelike perfection.
Enter the Gungeon is one of those "your mileage may vary" indie games. The pixel art is deliciously good and the gameplay mechanics are rock solid, but trying to mix a brutally hard roguelike with a loot-chaser collectathon seems counter-intuitive. If you can stomach the game's unforgiving challenge then there is a lot to love here, but expect to tear your hair out when the game kills you and you lose your meticulously sorted gun collection.
Enter the Gungeon is a wonderful, demanding yet rewarding, roguelike twin-stick shooter where the visuals marry perfectly with the gameplay to deliver one of the most addictive experiences in recent memory. Fans of Binding of Isaac, Spelunky et al sit up and take notice, Enter the Gungeon rolls with the punches and delivers an experience worth of sitting alongside these greats.
Enter the Gungeon is another in a long line of fantastic roguelikes. Its razor sharp twin-stick gunplay, huge variety of passive and active weapons, and clever world building make it an absolute joy to sink countless hours into. The lack of leaderboards or a daily run mode is a frustrating oversight, but you'll be too busy running, gunning, and dodge-rolling your way through its many caverns to notice or care.
Enter the Gungeon is a terrific roguelike shooter whose sense of humour and exacting design make for tricky bullet-slaying fun both alone or with a friend.
Enter the Gungeon is a fun action game that is sure to satisfy bullet hell enthusiasts and those of you who love twitch shooters.
Enter the Gungeon is a charming bullet hell/roguelike hybrid that manages to balance the best elements of both its genre influences while carving out an identity of its own.
