Critic Reviews for Blazing Strike
One may consider that, being programmed in Unity, Blazing Strike is a feat in and of itself; but the fact that it's largely built by one person is nothing short of remarkable. Original and beautiful-looking, the possibility in its broad character roster feels fresh and exciting. It isn't a game for absolute novices, but dabblers and aficionados will find its Rush system an intriguing and well-implemented combo tether. Whether or not it can draw the community away from the current Marvel vs. Capcom online boom, and if so, for how long, remains to be seen. Regardless, it's a title that deserves attention, and would perform well at a professional tournament level. Like most first iterations of fighting games, there are areas that can use some tweaking, but such an impressive first attempt certainly bodes well for the future.
Blazing Strike looks the part but struggles to put up a fight in a crowded market that is only getting stronger.
, Blazing Strike has nice graphics and simple gameplay. This gameplay may appeal to a certain audience, but it didn't appeal to me. One thing that is a consensus, however, is its game modes: they are terrible, especially for the solo player.

Blazing Strike is a fighting game with the potential to be better than its presentation. Hidden by its various limitations are a truly fun combat, varied and charming characters and a compelling ambiance[, all of] which deserve to shine more than they currently do.

Blazing Strike's intentions were great but various execution issues, along with the meager options and lack of any elements that could give it more replay value, make the title unappealing amidst others that offer much more at a lower cost. If it at least improved the combat and had a trophy system that made the player explore its visually varied cast, it would be a big step to accompany the artistic style that right now is the only highlight.

Considering that online play is full of problems, the game fails to deliver a competent implementation of the feature that would give it more playtime, from the terrible matchmaking to constant crashing bugs, resulting in a frustrating experience. In the midst of this, I recommend Blazing Strike as a good arcade game, which can be functional for quick single player games, not sustainable in a long-term cycle, with a small cast and a lack of competitive possibilities.
