Bleach: Rebirth of Souls Reviews
Bleach Rebirth of Souls is a love letter to the long-running Bleach anime with full English and Japanese voice-overs in a faithful recreation of the franchise's long story. The game's simple but engaging combat system combines the best elements from anime arena fighters and traditional fighting games for some intense and visually pleasing battles. However, the game's lack of online features repeats the same mistakes of Bandai Namco's past arena fighters, reducing some of the game's replay value.
BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is a true love letter to fans, letting them step into the shoes of their favorite characters with exhilarating and distinct playstyles. The combat is deep and rewarding, but the absence of ranked mode, crossplay, and a lackluster story keep it from reaching its full potential. Even so, it stands as the number one BLEACH game, shining bright for everyone.
I said it before but I’ll say it again, Rebirth of Souls is a true love letter to the Bleach community. It’s the first console game we’ve gotten in over a decade and you can see the hard work that went into it. Fully voiced and nicely animated, it’s a great way to relive the series that many love. However, it’s not perfect. The game has glitches and is missing key characters. Plus the online mode needs some work if it wants to be a real contender in the competitive fighting space. But it’s on the right track to be one of the best fighting games out there and I look forward to seeing how it improves over time including any additional characters.
Bleach Rebirth of Souls is the perfect gift for any anime-loving gamer, offering a well-balanced combat experience that blends action with rich content. It stays faithful to the original story while adding a fresh twist through the "What If?" feature, which reimagines events with alternative scenarios—delivering a fun and unique experience full of surprises.

BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is a really entertaining arena fighting game, which both fans of the anime and strangers to Ichigo will enjoy.
In some ways, I feel like Rebirth of Souls was packaged neatly but ultimately rushed. The online PvP mode is cool, and it's fun to see how characters stack up against each other, but many people will clamor for a ranking mode, as all that’s here currently is casual play. I do find myself enjoying this fighting experience despite knowing it can evolve to higher combat heights. The cast is incredible for a first outing, and if Bandai Namco does greenlight a sequel, these characters will be more finely tuned and hopefully can duke it out in stage-destroying experiences. If you love Bleach, you’ll definitely find the right character for your enjoyment, and that is more reason to play it.
BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is a solid representative of fighting games with an original concept. The battles are extremely satisfying, and you can truly feel the power of these characters. However, Tamsoft did a mediocre job with the task of creating a game adaptation of the anime. On one hand, they included a lot of accurate content from the world’s lore. On the other hand, when it comes to presenting events through in-engine cutscenes, there are noticeable oversights and errors that could have been avoided. Nevertheless, this is undoubtedly the best BLEACH game to have hit the market so far. Both fighting game veterans and fans of Japanese pop culture will have a great time with this title.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is an exciting and very fun fighting game that lives up to the expectations of any Bleach fan. The cast of characters is the main attraction, and each one's moves will surprise you. But don't expect much from the rest.

Bleach Rebirth of Souls delivers a faithful yet shallow story mode and repetitive combat, wasting the potential of its characters and 3D battles despite solid content variety.

Bleach Rebirth of Souls is fun once you get over the jargon-y names of its mechanics and some nuisance elements.
Bleach: Rebirth of Souls succeeds as an anime fighter with a good deal of depth to it. The story mode and mission offerings are a bit bland, but the clear love for the series and multiplayer aspects stand out as impressive. If you’re a big Bleach fan, this is a solid title for some fun times with friends.
Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is a fantastic entry for both newcomers and older fans, and helps refresh players who haven’t kept up with Bleach, so that they’re ready for the final part of the Thousand-Year Blood War anime adaptation later this year.
Bleach: Rebirth of Souls caters to fans but fails to deliver a lasting or compelling fighter, held back by limited execution and lack of online features.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is not one of the best 3D fighting games on the market, but it is a very good option for those who love Tite Kubo's work. It has problems, yes, but the truth is that I have been able to enjoy the title in a very good way thanks to its interesting combat system and the company of friends in its online aspect.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls introduces some interesting gameplay innovations and a not huge but highly differentiated roster of characters, with a compelling Story mode that will satisfy both the fans and who is approaching the Bleach series for the first time. Too bad, tho, for the lacklustre technical side, plagued by blurry visuals and unstable performance, and an almost unplayable online mode.

With a lack of modes and features in both online/offline play, (just three modes if you include the tutorial) / marred by poor server issues, and some pretty basic fighting mechanics; It is hard to support a purchase for the full recommended retail price. All the flash and impressive presentation values soon wear off. Story mode has its highs and lows that hardcore fans will love due to its faithful implementation of the original comic tale. Bleach REBirth Of Souls will prove popular to hardcore fans who love the nostalgia factor, (whilst arguably just grateful for an actual Bleach video game release). I felt the game could and should offer much more. A lack of depth in modes and its basic gameplay mechanics leave me feeling what could have been had more time been pumped into this release. REBirth Of Souls is a rough diamond that sadly, probably didn't have the budget to match the ambition.
Bleach Rebirth of Souls is great fighter that can stand on its own thanks to its unique approach and gameplay to the genre. The game offers a decent roster of 30+ characters out of the box, gameplay is easy to pick up and hard to master, and there’s enough gameplay content to keep players busy for months. Despite Story mode feeling more like a watching an anime (felt like 40% playing, 60% watching) and burying the shop under layers of menus in story mode, the gameplay is solid enough to sink its teeth into players. If you’re a long time fighting genre player or looking for some different, Bleach Rebirth of Souls is a must play.
Bleach Rebirth of Souls manages to be a stylish 3D fighting game that interprets the original work well and is able to explore in great detail the main arcs of its plot before what is currently being adapted into an anime. Its main bottleneck is the lack of diversity of modes and a more robust online that encourages players to remain active, but for those who want to relive the nostalgia of Tite Kubo's creation, the game hits the nail on the head with its story mode and the mechanical construction of its combat.

BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is the definitive video game experience for the franchise, but that doesn't mean it's a success. Although it offers a good adaptation of the anime as far as possible, as well as a combat system that's different from other arena fighters, the game has several flaws, such as its dated graphics, poor optimization on PC, lack of game modes, and an online mode that didn't work in my experience. Even with all these problems, it's possible that the experience will please longtime fans, even if it's far from perfect.
