The physics of the firearms are very well implemented and give a good feeling of impact. Although you can buy assets with real money, there is no shadow of pay-to-win. Servers that guarantee almost instant access and good lag-proof netcode complete the offer.

ARC Raiders has well and truly been worth the wait. This is a phenomenal showcase of what immersive multiplayer can be. Every run is different, and your squad will come out with stories to tell each time. It can be tougher on those planning to play solo, and the extraction loop won't be for everyone. But as far as extraction shooters go, this is one of the most accessible, and it respects your time, giving you a fun experience from your first match. We can easily say that ARC Raiders is one of the best multiplayer games this generation.

After The Finals, Embark Studios hits the mark again, releasing not only one of the best extraction shooters on the market, but also one of the most interesting games of the year. With robotic enemies as bad as ever, gorgeous maps, and a remarkably accessible loot system, ARC Raiders manages to be the first entry in the genre truly accessible to everyone, even running flawlessly on consoles. The only unknown remains post-launch support, but the roadmap published by the developers is promising, with an additional map already arriving in the next few days. I can’t believe I’m saying this in the same year we’ve had Expedition 33, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and The Alters, but ARC Raiders is a real contender for Game of the Year.
The extraction game offers a striking vision of what the Earth could become if we continue to wage wars and allow machines to dominate. However, if you want to survive, you must be inconspicuous. It's a shame that some things are not explained well enough and that the quests are so trivial.
