King of Meat is a fantastic party game for people who like to work together, have large creation tools, and like chaos. It might leave players wanting more if they're looking for strategic battles, real progress, or long-lasting solo play.

King of Meat is an original mix of chaotic party game, challenging dungeon crawler and wonderfully over-the-top game show production. The game impresses with its unique atmosphere, quirky setting and plenty of co-operative fun for friends. Minor weaknesses in the balancing and controls may spoil the overall impression a little, but they hardly matter. In the end, what remains is a creative, funny and surprisingly profound title that brings a breath of fresh air to the genre

King of Meat delivers bloody fun and dark humor in a chaotic action-platformer. With community dungeons, co-op mayhem, and biting satire, it’s a twisted but entertaining show.

King of Meat is a splendid way to while away the hours with a few friends as you dash through devilishly designed dungeons in a never-ending quest for fame and fortune.

King of Meat delivers a chaotic game show experience where teamwork with friends and community creativity are key to success. Its level creation mode is robust and fun, allowing players to bring wild ideas to life. However, the heavy reliance on multiplayer limits its appeal for those who prefer solo play. Glowmade nails the cartoony aesthetic, humor, and community-driven potential, but falls short with repetitive progression and underwhelming modes outside of co-op. As such, King of Meat stands out as a great title for those seeking fun with friends, but may disappoint players looking for a solo challenge. With so many co-op games on the market, King of Meat risks being quickly forgotten. Time will tell.

It’s a game that offers an incredible amount of content, outstanding creation tools, and memorable cooperative moments. Its deep combat and nearly limitless customization are its greatest strengths. However, frustrating platforming and inconsistent difficulty prevent it from reaching absolute excellence. Despite its flaws, it’s a solid offering that any fan of cooperative games should consider, especially given its affordable price.

King of Meat may not feature the tightest 3D platforming ever, nor the most engaging brawler mechanics in history. Yet, its eventful and varied dungeons offer exhilarating platforming, satisfying exploration and chaotic combat. It’s fun as a solo game, but with other players it turns into an absolute riot. Tons of items to throw around, explosions, moving platforms, wacky physics – it’s hilarious chaos

King of Meat has an interesting premise, but it's executed in a shallow way. It also forces unfunny humor and uses an excessive amount of lighting that becomes uncomfortable during gameplay sessions. Maybe the game is aimed at a younger audience and I just didn't get it, but what I saw didn't impress me at all.

King of Meat is a delicious oddity. A video game that doesn't take itself seriously, but has more personality than many triple-A titles with multi-million-dollar budgets. A digital reality show full of traps, laughter, and animated farts.

Glowmade’s King of Meat may look like a goofy platformer full of skeletons, trolls, and traps (which it is), but it also hides a surprising streak of anti-corporate satire beneath the surface. What could have been just another dungeon runner actually delivers a witty story, excellent voice acting, and a heap of customisation that makes it stand out in a crowded genre.
