The solutions are randomised each time, so you can’t just learn what to do by rote and the manual is often purposefully obscure to make sure nobody’s job is too easy. It’s a shame the manual readers don’t get to see what’s going on, but that’s not because of the Quest’s lack of connection to the TV as there was never the option in the PlayStation VR version either. That oddity aside this is as social as VR gaming gets at the moment, especially as you can easily pass the headset around so everyone gets a go.

If you are tired of always playing Cards Against Humanity, Monopoly, and that Gargoyles board game on Laserdisc, then Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes will certainly give you the fix you're looking for, pending you have friends ready to be committed to the task at hand. If not, Gargoyles is always a good choice. Trust me.

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is the most unique co-op game I've ever played, but it's also a brilliant idea that is well executed, and it suits the Nintendo Switch particularly well.

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes utilises the PlayStation VR headset superbly to create an excellently immersive, couch co-op experience, with tight controls that make it easily accessible for new players. The gameplay is enjoyable, and there is plenty on offer in terms of replayability to keep you coming back for more.

Keep talking and nobody explodes is one of the funniest titles of recent times, and anyone looking for a great co-op experience should purchase a copy. The understanding, complicity and ingenuity that this game is able to bring out from the players are something unique for our medium, which breaks through the barrier of the monitor and extends to a multiplicity of experts, all united to save the unfortunate artificer.

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is a very smart use of a new technology; it was executed very well, it’s simple to play, and it is fun for everyone. There is a nice progression of difficulty with more complex modules appearing with more frequency over time, and then again with the introduction of needy modules (they can’t be finished or solved, but require constant attention throughout your allotted time). For a game that is to be played with family and friends who might not be gamers, the controls are simple and the VR is comfortable and does not cause dizziness or nausea (you just sit in a chair). I was excited for this game when it was announced, and it delivers the fun that I expected. You, too, can have fun with bombs in your own living room! Go ahead, invite the neighbors!

The game is not only fun and fulfilling, but I genuinely think it improved communication between my partner and me.

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is an enjoyable local multiplayer experience, and one I plan to return to during gatherings. The enjoyment comes from the frantic communication or lack of communication between The Experts and the person trying to defuse the bomb. Regardless of who we had disarming the bomb, everyone stepped away enjoying the experience and wanting to play more.
