Rayman Legends is a remarkable step up from its already excellent predecessor.

Rayman Legends lands on PS Vita with a little delay and for the moment a few less levels (invasions). Fortunately, these levels will be added for free soon and in the end we will end up with a version more provided than on consoles of living room, since it benefits from 5 exclusive levels. Despite loading times a bit longer than other platforms (but very acceptable), Rayman Legends offers touch gameplay perfectly suited to Sony's portable console.

With the release of Rayman Legends, the Wii U continues the slow, quiet build-up of its arsenal. This game, along with the Wii U's recently announced price drop, may have just become the best reason to get one.

Rayman Legends feels more polished and looks even richer than its already stunning predecessor. As far as pure platformers go this generation, you'll be hard pressed trying to find one better than this.

Ubisoft has succeeded in a small miracle: proposing an even better platformer than Origins. Rayman Legends surpasses its predecessor not only quantitatively, but also qualitatively. Everything from level design to the graphic sector shines with its own light, giving us not only one of the best platformers of recent years, but also a new spearhead for the softeca of the performance PS Vita.

Overall, I found Legends to be much easier than Origins. Maybe it’s because I’m an old school platforming nut, and my opinions should be taken with a grain of salt. But I was anticipating Legends being more difficult than Origins, not easier and shorter. Which isn’t to say Rayman Legends is a cakewalk, just that it was noticeably easier. However, I don’t want to give everyone the impression that the game was horrible. That’s simply not the case. In fact, I rather enjoyed my time with the game, and have yet to unlock some 200 or so Teensies. It is possible, though unlikely, that my opinion will change after I have had a chance to fight the hidden boss, and beaten all the stages fully. Until then, though, I can only base my review on my experience prior to playing the game. For those who enjoy platforming, Rayman Legends is a great choice. Especially since it is easier than it’s brother, Rayman Origins. But for those who like their platformers to be tough as nails and brutal, perhaps hold off on your legendary expectations until Ubisoft announces another game.

Rayman Legends on PSVita is a solid conversion, marginally plagued by some minor problems. But still: if you're looking for an enjoyable platforming experience on the go, look no further.

Rayman Legends is a game that deserves to be played by everyone. The art style and music are some of my favorite from this generation, and compliment each other outstandingly. If you are looking to get the best experience grab the 360 or PS3 version, but the Vita and Wii U versions are only slightly inferior. The extensive amount of content will make sure you lose yourself for days.

A charming and inventive platformer that understands what makes the genre special, and never rests on its laurels.

A gorgeous, joy-filled, characterful platformer. Aside from a few minor niggles, Rayman Legends deserves a place alongside the very best examples of the genre. It looks ever-so slightly prettier on Xbox One, but that's about it. Nonetheless, Rayman Legends is still highly recommended.

Rayman Legends melds abject strangeness with diverse platforming to create an adventure that's as enjoyable as it is challenging.

One of 2013's greatest platformers is at its best on the PS4 and Xbox One. Those who have already completed a playthrough have little incentive to return, but it's a great value for anyone who hasn't.

These PS4 and Xbox One versions of Rayman Legends will inevitably be compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. There is no doubt that they offer a better graphic rendering, while eliminating loading times. So if you're a next-gen console owner and you've missed this great game, don't hesitate for a second and throw yourself on it!

The "next-gen" version of Rayman Legends is not a re-release, a remake designed to bring out the best in the new Sony and Microsoft hardware. It is, more simply, the same title released six months ago, which today can be played on two other consoles. If you have not yet had the pleasure of discovering the new course of the Ubisoft platformer, the advice is now the same as then: make it yours without hesitation.

If you haven't played Rayman Legends yet, and you own a PS4, then forget everything I have said and run out to purchase it now. It's still a phenomenal game, I cannot stress this enough, and for the people who haven't purchased it yet, this is probably one of the better versions. . . . [A]nyone who already owns the game, which at this point is most of the Rayman fanbase, can simply overlook this release. It's just a port, and you aren't missing much by passing it up.

Really though, only one question needs to be answered: is Rayman Legends worth getting on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One? Honestly, that depends. If you haven't played the game at all then yes, absolutely get it.
