More than twenty years after the manic marsupial first graced the PlayStation, the return of Crash Bandicoot isn't just welcome…it just feels right. A throwback to a more positive time, Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is a testament to timeless game design and an example of a remaster done right by two studios split across two eras.

If you don't mind the lower resolution and slightly less crisp visuals, then the Switch version is incredibly easy to recommend, especially as it gains portability. It's a cracking port of one of the best remasters around. It's odd to say, but it almost feels like this should be Crash's new home.

Crash trilogy is a pleasure for eyes and our nostalgia: the Sony mascot has returned in the best way with the same gameplay as twenty years ago and the same success.

The N. Sane Trilogy brings the golden age of 3D platforming back to the PlayStation 4. This collection maintains all that made the originals great but also making them accessible to the newest generation of gamers. This is a must have for fans of the originals and younger gamers might want to get in on the crate smashing action.

The N. Sane Trilogy marks the return of one the most-beloved icon from the PlayStation era: Crash Bandicoot is back with a huge remake created by the guys at Vicarious Visions, that keeps the gameplay untouched while offering an "insane" upgrade in both graphics and audio.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a must-have for nostalgic fans. Vicarious Visions' treatment of the games is impeccable as well as revitalizing but if you have never played an entry of the series, you may find this collection frustrating and even poorly designed.

Overall, Crash N. Sane Trilogy delivers everything what I expected as a remastered title. It was simple and nostalgic. Even without the original developers, Activision and Vicarious Visions pulled this off by bringing back what made the series great and legendary. This may not be for everyone especially for newcomers, but this is still a hell lot of fun. I’m still hoping for a Crash Team Racing or Crash Bash remastered version though. A DLC maybe? Who knows? So far, this is the best game that was fully remastered, and I’m hoping for more.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is a true gem and is a game worth getting by today's generation. A game that has evolved along with us from the very beginning. A game that gives me hope that other old treasures will one day get the same remaster treatment.

Assuming that you play the titles in chronological order, N. Sane Trilogy will only get better the more you go into it, and the combined playtime of trilogy confidently justifies its current price tag. It’s a reminder of why Crash was arguably the best at 3D platformers in the Nineties, and the few adjustments needed in these remakes show that the original trilogy have stood the test of time; especially Crash: Warped.

Overall this is great package and I can recommend it to anyone whether they grew up with the bandicoot or are meeting him for the first time. I’m more optimistic about his future because of how well Vicarious Visions and Activision handled this remake and hoping we get a similar remake for Crash Team Racing and maybe even the original three Insomniac developed Spyro the Dragon games. There may be a few issues but Crash Bandicoot has never looked better. Naughty Dog’s hard work is showcased in its full modern potential and it looks and plays fantastic.

Visually, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is the most impressive remaster I have ever seen! The leap from PS1 to PS4 graphics is truly fascinating. You get three already awesome games made even better – including new bonus content – for only $39.99. That’s a really great deal you shouldn’t miss.

Although the Nintendo Switch version may be have lower resolution compared to other cosnoles, Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is suitable to be played while you are anywhere by carrying the switch with you anytime, anywhere. I feel satisfied with the design of the game on the switch, it offers the same experience with the original one with some good additions.
