Behind the creepy mood and the awesome graphics, Little Nightmares has very little (pun intended) to say, gameplay-wise. Too simple, with some basic platforming and uninspired stealth sections.

While Little Nightmares might not scare your pants off, it will definitely get your heart racing. The game's mix of incredible art design and enjoyable gameplay create a memorable game that gets better with each level. While Little Nightmares' long load times will hopefully get patched out currently, they make exploring a lot less desirable. Puzzles in the game could be better, but its main gameplay elements come off very thrilling and fun.

Tariser has come a long way from the bubbly world of LittleBigPlanet with the dark and disgusting world of Little Nightmares. What it lacks in gamplay substance is made up for in visual and audio design. If that's a trade-off you're worth making, and Little Nightmares is a decent entry into the genre.

There's an equal amount of qualities to like and dislike, but when it comes down to it Little Nightmares succeeds at delivering on its promise of being an interesting horror game unlike anything else.

It has some unfortunate gameplay failings, but in terms of disturbing atmosphere and surprisingly serious subject matter this is one of the best horror games of the year.

Without a doubt, Little Nightmares is a visual treat. After a while, the dark and gritty environment begins to affect you, and the soundtrack elevates the feeling of dread in this brilliantly designed game. The characters you come across are varied enough to always present a new challenge and the game is generally a pleasure to play and even fall in love with. However, it's downsides, such as a lack of a clear story, steals a sense of purpose from the actions that you have to perform.

Psychologically scary as it plays on the fears from your childhood. Visually beautifully, wonderful use of music and sounds, with a clever message lurking within it. Gentle, but sometimes tricky puzzles, though the lack of variety of puzzles means gameplay doesn't remain challenging throughout the game. However, a beautifully crafted game which doesn't rely on thrills and gore to create horror.

The fantastic tale of Six and her surreal adventure through the uncanny valley is one that will not be forgotten, especially after the startling character development of Six and the haunting ending. The artwork of this game is assuredly one of my all-time favourites, challenging the horror genre to step away from excessive gore and lazy jumpscares.

An extremely effective horror experience, but an undercooked horror game.

I wasn’t quite expecting to enjoy the relatively small experience that is Little Nightmares as much as I did. It captured the clever puzzles that I loved from Limbo, while also having a great visual style that gives it a good sense of identity

A largely captivating and bizarre-pretty adventure, whose grand finale, however, disappoints in many ways.

If you like these artistically pleasing platform puzzlers, then this is going to be something you'll enjoy. It's not very challenging, and it has a few issues that will frustrate, but this is a fine one-and-done game, and for the price, it's well worth investigating.

Little Nightmares is a great adventure horror game that had me jumping me from start to finish. Although gameplay is not as long, it was the puzzles and challenges combined with the amazing illustrations that made this game worth playing (once you got over the long loading times and the fact that you may die very few minutes).

Little Nightmares might have a striking artistic direction and a dark story to tell, but it's lacking originality by looking too much like PlayDead's INSIDE.

A unique and very special adventure, with lovely visuals, an incredible atmosphere and an amazing representation of the feeling of being small. It's not as trascendental as it's meant to be, but we would be lying if we say that we didn't enjoy it from beginning to end.

Little Nightmares is a fascinating game. Its style, atmospheres and environments can be quite creepy and it also features some disturbing situations. However, the game doesn't satisfy the player's curiosity, leaving them unfulfilled.

Little Creatures is a freshly scary experience that feels like a like gothic storybook come to life despite some technical hiccups and awkward controls.

An okay platformer but a deeply imaginative horror game, Little Nightmares is worth playing for its array of disturbing imagery.
