With steadier pacing and fun narrative twists, Giant Consequences improves over the first episode in many ways

Giant Consequences is a shorter episode, but a better one than the first with good pacing to the story and an interesting and amusing new baddie.

Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 - Episode 2 "Giant Consequences" doesn't help lift this series out of the slump that began in the premier. This season looks to have better days ahead, but right now it's just not hitting the right spots.

Overall, Giant Consequences is a worthwhile new chapter, and helps build a strong foundation for the rest of the season.

Episode 2 is a huge letdown compared to the solid beginnings of Episode 1.

Minecraft: Story Mode Season Two - Episode 2: Giant Consequences on the whole is a slight improvement on the opening episode with an intriguing plot twist and an exciting cliff-hanger ending that will entice you to jump into Episode 3. However, the plot choices still feel very lacklustre and unimportant and the characters themselves are still lacking any sort of development in personality in order to make them memorable. We'd suggest you hold off a little longer in the hope of an outstanding Episode 3 that'll do a U-turn on the season so far.

To my (pleasant) surprise, there were also a few key decision-making moments here that seemed to drastically alter the way the story played out. The episode featured a few surprising story twists, a difficult moral dilemma, and ended off with yet another cliffhanger and an ominous preview of things to come.

Anyway, Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 ends on a high note with episode 5. It has a decent conclusion and one of the best boss fights I have ever played in a Telltale video game. Season 2 will make a perfect Christmas gift for anyone in the family that loves Minecraft and Telltale video games in general.

Whether you're a Minecraft fan or not, this well-woven tale of dilemmas and derring-do will have you on the edge of your oddly blocky seat.

Episode Two “Giant Consequences” is a great addition to an already exciting second season of Minecraft: Story Mode and is well worth a look.

All in all it felt too much like a filler episode and I wonder if Telltale games should really stick to their selfimposed "5 episodes per game" model as this one would have been better off being packed together with episode three.

Episode 2: Giant Consequences seems to steady the ship for Minecraft: Story Mode Season Two, as the Admin's gigantic boss fight at the beginning sets the stage for the subsequent episodes.

While not having the exploration of Minecraft, this story-centric title provides an interesting experience that will give any player a few hours of entertainment. The addition of Crowd Play makes the game far more interesting than some other Telltale games.

The adventure continues for Jesse and his/her gang of old and new friends. The second episode for this season of Minecraft: Story Mode introduces the new villain: the Admin. This all-powerful being will put the characters to the test in deadly challenges, in order for them to prove their worth and save, once again, Beacontown from destruction. The story is well-paced, with small surprises and twists throughout the episode, making it far superior when compared with previous ones.

Despite some continuity errors, episode two of Minecraft: Story Mode still shows that Telltale wants to make this season more than just an extra bid for money. The tension and character drama build to a point where the latter part of the episode flies by, leaving a void that can only be filled by the forthcoming episode three. When the only other complaint is that there's no option to start a romance with Lukas and/or Radar, it's clear that something special is being built here.

Overall I liked this episode, which is a problem since it makes me want to play the next episode right now! Of course, Giant Consequences ends on a cliffhanger, and I'm not even sure what direction will be taken by the next episode!

The second episode of this season of Minecraft: Story Mode is designed for kids, but dumbs things down a little too much in the process. Though some of the gameplay elements are welcome, the meandering plot does not seem to be hitting its stride. Here's hoping the third episode picks up the pace.

Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 - Episode 2: Giant Consequences' scenario worked perfectly. I have never seen a negative point during the game. As I said, the beginning was one of the best Minecraft: Story Mode debuts I've seen so far. In the final, I really began to wonder what would happen in the next episode and that wasn't a feeling during the episode one. So, Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 - Episode 2: Giant Consequences was a perfect chapter in my opinion. I recommend everyone.

I've said it a hundred times in TellTale reviews in the past but the first episode of the season is usually always its weakest, and as such the seasons tends to get stronger as they continue. Ergo, I remained optimistic for Episode 2. I'm glad I did, 'Giant Consequences' is a far more cohesive, fun experience, even if it still isn't completely essential.
