Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 2 Reviews
Unfortunately, this whole dynamic is a great risk for Bruce to take; he could potentially lose more than just his company should his evil endeavours and the company he keeps come to the public light.
Season 2 of Batman: The Enemy Within is off to a much stronger start than season 1, and with the twists, turns, and startling revelations that capped off last season's finale, I cannot wait to see where Telltale takes this series next. Episode 2 turns the dial up to 11 as we see Bruce at his most ruthless as he is forced to infiltrate and take down Gotham's most notorious group of criminals from among their own ranks.
Batman: The Enemy Within – The Pact ends in a cliffhanger, as is to be expected from a Telltale Games episodic release, and it will definitely leave you wanting more. Luckily the third episode for the series releases soon, so the wait won't be that long!
Episode 2: The Pact touches the subject of Bruce Wayne entering the criminal world like his father in the past, developing an intimate relationship with John Doe pushes the plot direction to a lot of possibilities in the succeeding events. While The Pact didn’t have a big bang in the ending, I am still exciting for what is to come in Episode 3: The Fractured Mask.
In The Pact, it's time to learn something more about the good and the bad guys we are going to deal with for the rest of the series, but the episode feels very slow-paced and forgets about half of the gameplay mechanics we saw in Episode 1.

The Pact continues to do right by the Batman universe by both establishing old fan favorites, and by trying new things with Harley Quinn and the Joker.
Most players know what to expect from Telltale Games by now and they have delivered for the most part once again with Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 2 – The Pact. Being given only one real puzzle in the episode is certain a letdown after past episodes. The introduction of new enemies from Batman’s rogues gallery and another suspenseful cliffhanger that brings back a familiar character from the first game though will leave you awaiting the next episode after finishing up Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 2 – The Pact.
This episode treats us to a unique variation on some classics characters which adds some narrative flare. Yet it falls short where it counts with the moment-to-moment gameplay.
Batman: The Enemy Within is flying high at the moment, with a cast of intriguing characters bearing their own identities which feel unique to the series, despite many of them having multiple incarnations in other forms of media. I laughed, was partially fearful of what Bruce has gotten himself into, and felt regular surges of adrenaline as I tried to be convincing as a potential member of the brilliant criminal ensemble in “The Pact”.
Batman: The Enemy Within's second episode continues most of the strengths from the first, with the lack of any real action being the only downside. Thankfully, the extremely strong story and characters continue to shine here.
It seems that Batman: The Enemy Within was done by completely different people who returned to poorly written instructions for creating a blockbuster at home.

The Pact is yet another imperfect episode from Telltale which repeats previous technical issues and misleads this series from the great path that was began in the first place. Having that in mind, we’re still interested in seeing where story goes in upcoming episodes.

Batman must ask himself what he is willing to do to infiltrate the crime syndicate.
What can I say, this season is turning out to be one hell of a journey and I am loving every bit of it. I can’t really think of anything negative I want to whine about or something that would stop me from giving this episode a full on 10, which is not something often occurring.
Our latest chapter opens with an intense scene, which bodes well for Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 2: The Pact. Unfortunately, the rest of the episode just never manages to maintain that momentum and left me hoping that Episode 3 can right the ship as too many characters are crammed into this episode with too little payout for decisions that are made during the chapter.
I'm really enjoying The Enemy Within so far, after a strong opener and now a second episode that drags Bruce further than ever before, and strips him of any real sense of control over the situation.
This second episode continues to be able to involve the player and guarantee a lot of twists. An episode different from the previous one, with many really difficult choices.
