Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition Reviews
Original Sin 2 shakes your hand a little too hard when you first meet. It needs to relax until you get to know it better. It's endlessly surprising, with characters that lose their stiffness over time, in dialogues and battle logs that piece together a dangerous, thoughtful world. It's tough. But the reward is that you get tougher, too. It still needs to clean up some of its tactical sloppiness, though. Having a ton of options in battle is only good if its rules are fair and make sense.
Rightly considered one of the best Western RPGs of recent years, Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition has lost none of its appeal on Nintendo Switch.

Divinity: Original Sin II is surely one of the best games to be seen on consoles this year, not only speaking of RPGs. And as I said in the introduction, FOR ME is already among the greats of the RPG. It's not easy to bring a very tactical and theoretically "slow" RPG subgenre to a wider target audience. In my opinion they have succeeded, or at least, they have done everything possible thanks to the union of a solid story and script, total freedom to face situations (even without fighting on many occasions) and a noteworthy graphic section.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is easily one of the greatest games on the Nintendo Switch. While it may not have the best graphics on the handheld, its mere breadth makes it one of the deepest experiences in the library. Like any great session of D&D or other tabletop role-playing games, it engrosses the player in its setting and characters to the point that you're able to fully escape into its world. While it may be overwhelming at first, there are dividends to those that decide to make the commitment.
In short Divinity Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition the best game on Nintendo Switch.
An incredible port of an incredible game, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is just as ground-breaking and clever as it was on PC while running impressively well on the Switch’s lower-end spec.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is probably one of the best old-school RPG you can find on console, a true masterpiece. The PC's version was almost perfect, this one follows the same path. Definitive Edition adds a new tutorial, new game mode (Story Mode) and a rework of Act III for the main campaign and it's great.

This singular vision is perfectly at home on consoles. The experience is mirrored more or less perfectly on the controller and the addition of split-screen is a welcome one. Its characters, world and combat are a breath of fresh air in a stale genre. Though new content would not have hurt this supposed Definitive Edition, Original Sin 2 is perhaps the most compelling Role-Playing Game in a decade
Last year I named Divinity Original Sin II the best game I had played this millennium. This year I need to amend that statement. Divinity Original Sin II – Definitive Edition is the best RPG I have ever played. Its transition to console might not be a smooth as I would have liked, but there are a slew of improvements and welcome additions that make it more than it was, and the exceptional quality of the game is undeniable.
Overlook these little niggles and Divinity: Original Sin 2 is the best RPG to make it to consoles since The Witcher 3. It's vast, engaging and surprising. The willingness to accommodate many different types of play may have its drawbacks, but once you've understood the systems and given thought to what kind of hero you want to be, you can sink literally hundreds of hours into your life on Rivellon.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition may be the best representation of a CRPG on consoles to date, and is by far one of the best role-playing experiences currently available on any platform. Larian have outdone themselves yet again, and their love shines through every outmatched encounter, every failed persuasion, and every dead Magister.
Outstanding role-playing game that will stay in your memory for a long time due to its choices, possibilities and many stories.
