God Eater 3 is a fun game but lacks anything new and different from the previous installments, the fast action fight system is fun no doubt but proved to be outdated and limited, the design is OK at it's best, and the story is probably the worst.

God Eater 3 have an interesting story about the moral turpitude of the humans, as well as better graphics than the other God Eaters, some additions to the gameplay and the most important, a fantastic soundtrack.

God Eater 3 manages to fix some shortcomings of its Handheld predecessors but doesn't deliver the technical jump with the current console generation you would have expected, which goes through everything from the dull leveldesign to bad voice acting. Fans of the series will still get some fun out of the challenges in the multiplayer, assault and endgame missions.

Take a bite out of godlike monsters in this post-apocalyptic action RPG. The greatest enemy may not be the Aragami, but a stagnated system and potential fatigue instead.

It is an extremely competent entry to the genre but still falls back on some handheld design principals that I would have liked to see it shed in favour of larger areas to explore and more varied mission types and goals.

God Eater 3 is tons of fun with stunning new visuals, new weapons, new foes to face, and more. The game will even get more content in the coming months with the scheduled updates coming. This is definitely a must buy for a fan of the series. Players who are new to the game might enjoy it as well.

God Eater 3 doesn’t exactly bring anything brand new to the table and isn’t really technically groundbreaking, but it’s good for what it’s meant for. It’s a good Monster Hunter substitute with all the JRPG tropes in one package. It’s a game that feels rewarding and brings players back for more.

If you adjust your expectations and take the game for what it does right, you'll find God Eater 3 to be a spectacular experience as a mostly successful Monster Hunter-esque title.

Those who come from the great hunting title of last year, Monster Hunter World, they better reduce their expectations in terms of breadth and exploration, as this title drags a development inherited from the past portable experiences. They will need to open their minds to a title, paradoxically, more closed, more collected. However, God Eater 3 is a canonical continuation that will happily satisfy fans of previous installments who seek more Aragami heads to decorate their room, but it is also a very good gateway for those who are curious about this universe and we want to start at the beginning. It is not a sequel that revolutionizes the saga and looks to a different future, but builds perfectly on its background to stay within its line, which is much more than many other sequels can say.

Despite the UI clunkiness and slightly dated visuals, teaming up with friends is lots of fun in God Eater 3.

God Eater 3 is a game that takes a still relatively niche genre and does some interesting things with it both narratively and in terms of gameplay. It’s a much more story-focused experience with an interesting world and compelling cast of characters that’s currently unrivalled by other games of its type, but it’s also ultimately held back by its gameplay. There’s a distinct lack of combat depth later on in the game, the locales feel uninspired, and its repetitive nature makes God Eater 3 a title I can only recommend to those itching for more games of this kind.

God Eater 3 might not be perfect game, but you can bet it's a fun game to jump into if you're just looking to smash some monsters’ faces in with a really big sword.

The God Eater franchise makes the jump to consoles, streamlining the experience in many ways and adding online play, but hanging onto its roots in portable play holds it back from being the all-star in its genre.

God Eater 3 is a solid party-based monster-slaying RPG, with tons of riveting action, customisation options (though a little overwhelming at times) and overall a smooth gameplay experience.

The more you experience, the easier it gets, but it'd be easy to be turned off by the wealth of menus - although thankfully the game does try to unlock each portion at a time which is most welcome.

God Eater 3’s approach of simply offering more of the same without doing anything to expand on what made it such a strong challenger is a disappointment. It still has its positives, but they’ve all been seen before.

In general, God Eater 3 as a game, apart from its performance on other platforms, does its job very well and because of its structure-based quest system is very responsive on Nintendo Switch. Of course, you have to get used to its visual downsides in action, compared to the other versions.

Even if it can get a bit repetitive, God Eater 3 is creative action RPG that is perfectly at home on the Nintendo Switch. The premise is an interesting evolution for the series, the downtrodden characters are easy to sympathize with, and the combat is both fun and rewarding in short bursts.

By no means God Eater 3 is a bad game. Unfortunately after God Eater 2, the sequel can feel like more of the same and doesn't bring new ideas to the table. Also the game under uses some of their most interesting antagonists and in a way can definitely hurt the rhythm of the main story.

God Eater 3 is a truly evolved and enlarged version of the previous Game. The fascinating story and storytelling, well-crafted gameplay and enjoyable campaigns, along with good and satisfying visual effects, have provided fans of the genre with an action title that is a great leap forward for the series.
