One Piece: World Seeker isn’t the most inventive open world game out there. It’s not the biggest or the most varied in terms of mission design and structure. But it is a delight to play, thanks in part to its wonderful characters, well-written story and absolutely stunning-looking world.
It’s a crying shame that this One Piece game is so one note.
Fans of the One Piece anime and manga will probably find more to enjoy in the World Seeker experience than most gamers. Once you get past the pretty surface, you’ll find that there isn’t much below it. The story is middling, lacking the excitement and action you would expect from a property like One Piece.
One Piece: World Seeker has a lot of great ideas poorly implemented in a game with wasted potential. Looking from the outside, all of its basic mechanics and elements work just fine, but all of them have many issues or don't go any further to offer something unique or remarkable. Yeah, its fun at the beginning but it turns boring and repetitive on the long term.

Despite all that One Piece World Seeker can't do, it's still a solid B game.
The developers of One Piece World Seeker had lofty ambitions, but unfortunately, the final product is as shallow as it is frustrating.
World Seeker has an overall ok design but its a game that's surrounded by bad boring story narrative with a very limited open world and not enough activity to fill it. A huge anime like One Piece deserves better treatment from the gaming industry than this title.

Bandai Namco Entertainment sadly continues the trend and publishes another unfinished, low-budget title to make some quick money. Simply put, One Piece World Seeker is needlesly frustrating.

With One Piece: World Seeker it feels like we are finally getting higher quality licensed anime games, but it still has a way to go to be truly incredible or essential, even for fans of the series. Still, if you want to run and rocket with Luffy and the crew, this is a great place to do so.
Despite having a rich universe of content to draw from, it seems as though it's doomed to be just another average anime-inspired video game.
In some ways, One Piece: World Seeker is an exciting adventure that makes you feel inside an official OVA. Sadly, it has a poor combat system and an outdated mission design that makes you forget everything it does right.

A diverse open-world adventure, with draw dropping environments, that make traversing fun and seem less like a task, like any great video game does. And a fun, non-canonical, original story that makes quite an experience for fans and players who are deep into the One Piece lore. One Piece: World Seeker was a 12 hour experience, and one I surely will return to.
One Piece: World Seeker features both the looks and a story worthy of fitting in with the original story but be prepared for a simplistic fighting style and an open world with little to do.
One Piece: World Seeker is going to be adored by veterans and hardcore fans of the series, but is still quite enjoyable and easy to follow by someone that either has a casual knowledge or used to keep up with One Piece and the adventures of Luffy and his crew in the past. The game makes no effort to bring you up to speed with the story so far, character relationships or telling you why you should care about Luffy and the other members of the Straw Hats so I probably wouldn’t recommend this as a jumping on point for someone with zero familiarity with the One Piece universe just based on the fact you wouldn’t get the complete sense of enjoyment that someone with knowledge of the series would.
Overall, One Piece: World Seeker has some great ideas - and the premise of an open world tie-in for One Piece is brilliant, but in execution the game falls short of being a great experience
One Piece : World Seeker isn't a great open world. Some gameplay mechanics are too obsolete. The story writen by Oda is good but surrounded by a disappointing gameplay. The world is too empty to deeply involve the player.

There’s definitely fun to be had with One Piece World Seeker. I know it may not seem that way after reading through the review, but trust me when I say fans of the anime are going to get a lot of enjoyment out of this title, even if it gets dull rather quickly.
Overall, One Piece Worldseeker is a game that is best enjoyed as an anime rather than a game. There are just too many factors that make me not want to continue playing it or even dream of playing it. But I'm sure One Piece fans would disagree. The game really has a lot of potential but it seems like it was too shortsighted with its dream.
One Piece: World Seeker tells a surprisingly well-realized story that fans of the series are sure to enjoy, but only if they can make it through repetitive and frustrating gameplay. The talented voice cast and bright, popping visuals are a treat, but it does little to revolutionize the open-world adventure genre. If you aren't a fan of the source material, World Seeker is hard to recommend, but lovers of the Straw Hat pirates will find an enjoyable story buried under a lot of mundane gameplay.
