The Beast Inside Reviews
The perfect mix of survival horror and a traditional adventure video game. An indie with an enviable artistic design and really scary scenarios.

The Beast Inside has great deep atmosphere and interesting plot, but the impression will definitely be spoiled because of bad stealth sections and wandering through the maze.

The Beast Inside is a walking simulator that tries to make the most of the horror setting to create a good but not perfect videogame.

Overall I was very impressed by The Beast Inside not only for the visual aspects but also for the story of how the game was developed and came to be. This game was started on Kickstarter and within a reasonable amount of time reached its goals and then some. There is defiantly a few scenes that will stay in my memory, that aside everything is going to be rather memorable. Sure enough, I will be playing The Beast Inside a few more times over to see all the little things that I might have missed. I would give this game a solid 7 out of 10.
The Beast Inside is a a game with two souls: the first is close to a political thriller, the second one is more suitable for the genre and offers true moments of horror.

The Beast Inside is an uneven horror experience, even if it does have some truly bone-chilling moments.
This beast has a big teeeth and it is good ghostly adventure with some action and puzzle.

One can clearly see the ambition in The Beast Inside, but the developer's lack of experience means it doesn't actually reach those heights.
The game is best suited for players who are patient and willing to overlook its flaws to experience its atmospheric horror and engaging story.
The Beast Inside finally arrives on consoles bringing with it the undeniable appeal that has made it so successful on Steam. A charm due to a presentation that aspires to photorealism, with a compelling story somewhere between thriller and horror through two different historical eras. An excellent variety of situations and a very good longevity are further winning elements of a production that at the same time fails to hide a simplicity of structure and mechanics. This is a little gem from a small development team, which we recommend to fans of the genre and those who want to try something different and genuinely engaging.
