Critic Reviews for Pinball FX3: Williams Pinball - Volume 5
Williams Pinball Pack Volume 5 continues Zen Studios' relentless adaptation of real-life pinball machines. The quality of the tables isn't the issue here; the quality of the adaptation is what should be noted. As usual, these tables are spot on. Real-life pinball fans will love this pack, and FX3's more casual fans might enjoy the gut check beating they endure at the hands of these classics. Recommended, as usual.
Zen Studios has brought the usual amount of quality care in updating Pinball FX3 with this latest DLC pack. While the table trio varies in enjoyment, even the "worst" is still really solid. Williams Pinball – Volume 5 is a very good collection, one that could likely be considered a must for big enthusiasts.
Three new tables to try and establish the highest score on, with some lovely nostalgia thrown in for good measure.
The Williams Pinball Pack Volume 5 is another great set of additions to the overall Pinball FX3 experience.
All three of these tables are enjoyable, so I can heartily recommend this collection if you're a fan of real pinball tables or previous Williams Collections.
Williams Pinball Volume 5 is a great bit of DLC. While the other packs are great in their own way, I feel that Volume 5 is the best of the table packs since Volume 1, due to two of the tables being of outstanding quality while the other one is just average. Either way, you’ll have a lot of pinball scorechasing to enjoy from this pack and I really do give this DLC a good recommendation.
Yet another collection of pretty diverse top-tier tables awaits
Zen Studios knocked it out of the park with the Arabian Nights and Cirqus Voltaire tables, both of which were ones I enjoyed in my younger years and still find challenging and entertaining today. Being able to play classic tables like this in digital form is an absolute joy and they fit beautifully withing the Pinball FX3 framework. I am sure there are players who will enjoy the slightly cramped, high speed offering that No Good Gofers provides, but for me at least it was the least entertaining of the tables in the pack.
