Critic Reviews for The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters
While there are sporadic “action” sequences as you flee from Dark Song and avoid enemies, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is a game primarily about exploring a well-crafted setting and the narrative that unfolds therein, so your enjoyment will depend on your openness to that kind of experience.
I went into The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters expecting nothing, but aside from the initial frustration I had with its combat elements, came away having enjoyed this nice little slice of K-horror a lot.
The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is a great continuation of an interesting adventure that suffers from difficulty spikes and sudden attacks by monsters closer to the final chapter. Otherwise, this is a very exciting horror story with a fashionable Korean flavor.

The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is an interesting take on survival-horror. You don't get to fight your way out of the situations you find yourself in. Instead, hiding is your best weapon. Devespresso Games have crafted a unique horror experience shrouded in Korean horror lore. It's just a shame their unique approach is hindered by some questionable QTE moments and item management.
This k-horror survival game gives us a breath of fresh air by using contemporary survival play strategies, while giving us the freedom to choose our own path. Having two endings in the game so drastically different just makes the gamer want to play over and over. Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is a must buy for its unique gameplay and 2D design along with great character development.
The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is a fantastic game that absorbs you into a grim parallel universe and uses every tool in its arsenal to create an addicting sense of tension.
It's got all the right ideas in there, but it's so timid in exploring any of them that it comes across as altogether too safe to be good horror. Reframing it as a creepy adventure game would have helped, but there too, there are the likes of Tokyo Dark that show just how far things can be pushed, and The Coma 2 would struggle in that framing too.
With amazing sound design, deep dark atmospher and a mysterious story, I can tell that The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is one of the best Survival-Horror Adventure games I have ever played. If you want to have a mysterious dark journey, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is the game for you to play. We can see a lot of good things from Devespresso in future.
