Finji isn't the most renowned publisher out there, but it has released some bangers that you're probably aware of. Unfortunately, a lot of its efforts are currently being put into combating AI adverts.
First reported by IGN, Finji CEO Rebekah Saltsman recently took to BlueSky to make fans aware that "distinctly UN-Finji-like" adverts for the publisher's past and upcoming games were making the rounds, which Saltsman has now claimed has been AI-generated by TikTok This was after Finji was made aware of an advert by fans that Saltsman describes as "sexualized" and "racist."
While it seems as though the advert is no longer live, Finji has sent IGN screenshots of the advert in question, which depicts the main character of Unusual June in a bikini bottom, extremely large hips and thighs, and thigh-high boots. Of course, that is nothing like what the original character actually looks like, and it's a depiction that Finji says was created without permission.
