Crimson Desert is shaping up to be the perfect RPG for many people out there. It's a huge, open-world sandbox that lets you explore a fantasy world with complete freedom, does away with traditional mechanics like grinding and leveling in favor of making people explore, isn't filled with microtransactions, and from what everything Pearl Abyss has shown us, it looks very promising.
However, console fans have been getting a little edgy the closer we inch to the game's March 19 release date, mostly due to the lack of information that Pearl Abyss has provided on how it will run. Most of the previews that have come out discussing the game, like ours by our very own senior reporter Sam Woods, have been on PC, leaving potential console buyers sweating.
It's gotten to such a degree that Pearl Abyss has seemingly been facing accusations of deliberately hiding console footage of the game, knowing that it won't be in a good enough state upon launch. It's something CD Projekt Red did back when Cyberpunk 2077 first launched, as review outlets were given PC codes to try and hide the fact its PlayStation and Xbox versions weren't fit for release.
Hopefully, that...
