Keep talking and nobody explodes is one of the funniest titles of recent times, and anyone looking for a great co-op experience should purchase a copy. The understanding, complicity and ingenuity that this game is able to bring out from the players are something unique for our medium, which breaks through the barrier of the monitor and extends to a multiplicity of experts, all united to save the unfortunate artificer.

9 / 10.0 - Undertale
Nov 2, 2015

Undertale is an incredibly beautiful, original and dragging game and it is even more so when we consider that it was created entirely by a single developer. The magic that can be touched in this experience where you don't have to do harm to advance is of those that leave you something even once you get to the credits, a pleasant and painful moment that will easily spur you to take a second run.

8.8 / 10.0 - Halo 5: Guardians
Oct 26, 2015

The fifth regular chapter of the Halo saga will certainly leave long-time fans satisfied, for some time looking for a multiplayer sector capable of rivaling that proposed by the historical trilogy. Abandoning the Armor Abilities and returning to focus on a pure and clean gameplay, Halo 5 performs a small miracle: it manages to distance itself far enough from the two "giants" that have saturated the market in recent years, demonstrating not only a strong character, but also the ability to adapt to the needs of a large segment of the public.

Project Zero V satisfied us. The title effectively outlines a story characterized by suffering, loneliness and hatred, relying on the typical suggestions of Japanese horror productions. The final result has obvious flaws, which, however, fail to cool the enthusiasm for a production that proposes a way of conceiving the videogame horror almost of other times.

If you liked The Witcher 3 you can't say no to Hearts of Stone. In this first expansion, Projekt Red CDs drag the player through many situations, and not all of them at the tip of the sword. Brothers-infested crypts and possessed wedding parties to live are just the starter of an adventure that has a much wider breath than you might think.

9.3 / 10.0 - Forza Motorsport 6
Sep 8, 2015

Not only does Forza Motorsport 6 fill in the content gaps of its predecessor, it also goes far beyond that. The driving model is refreshed by the renewed simulation of the contact between tires and asphalt, which has a positive impact on the whole experience, the wet races are sensational and the night ones a pleasant addition, the career sufficiently varied and long-lived, the online vast and solid as always.

Super Mario Maker accomplishes what we might call a beautifully "democratic" creative revolution: Nintendo has decided to take an iconography built in thirty years of success and feed it to its fans, giving it the opportunity to use all its elements in an original way. He did so with a brilliant and well-thought-out editor, who boasts an out-of-the-ordinary usability.

In short, Arkham Kinght would have needed only a little more inspiration, while he does not lack innovations, quantity and glance.

We had done it, we had made it by combining everyone's ideas, we had made it thanks to a free afternoon that perhaps I will never forget. Kerbal is this: it sharpens mathematics, pushes for deepening and sometimes, sorry if it is little, also strengthens friendship.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is not a game dedicated to purists and gameplay admirers, since in the combat system and in the methods of exploring the map there is still that rough and poorly finished vein that has always distinguished the saga, which unfortunately has not been made the subject of significant improvements, not to mention the lack of enemy artificial intelligence. Despite the character's chances of growth, extensive inventory of weapons, armor, and accessories, and crafting, combat sins deep, and the same can be said of quest structure, which ends up reusing the same elements, albeit valid when taken individually. The overall experience therefore fails to overcome itself in terms of playability, adapting well to the free roaming formula but without guaranteeing a depth able to withstand for all the many hours of play offered. More than anything, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an extraordinary work from a narrative point of view.

Pack 2 beautifully closes the expansion plan designed by Nintendo for its (already exceptional) Mario Kart 8. The new characters and vehicles are flanked by 8 circuits - 4 unpublished and 4 filmed and revisited by the old episodes - which bring the total number of tracks available to 48.

9.8 / 10.0 - Grand Theft Auto V
Apr 20, 2015

There is no doubt about that: GTA V on PC is the definitive version of this beautiful game. Technique and gameplay go hand in hand in a huge, surprising, well-written game with three characters capable of staying etched forever in our minds.

9.3 / 10.0 - Pillars of Eternity
Mar 26, 2015

Pillars of Eternity is the definitive signal of a return to the origins of electronic role-playing and establishes, paired with Divinity, a benchmark with which all products from now on will have to clash. Between the two which one to choose? Both, if you have two hundred hours to devote to us. Alternatively, we are faced with two different aspects of the same coin. While Divinity is all gameplay, curious interactions and puzzles a bit weird but always interesting, Pillars does not seek innovation and prefers a classic approach, succeeding in the enterprise like no other has succeeded so far. The plot, the social interaction between the protagonists, the characterization of an entire world down to the smallest detail are rare and precious values, difficult to find if not in sporadic and superb equally successful productions (we mention Dishonored, Human Revolution and World of Warcraft, to make the idea).

9 / 10.0 - Bloodborne
Mar 24, 2015

Like a nightmare from which it is impossible to wake up, like the blood disease whose name it bears, Bloodborne torments the players, contaminates them and imprisons them in a world annihilated by pain.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D is the great remake that everyone was waiting for, the revenge of a "misreconsive" chapter that for fifteen years has been waiting for a new opportunity to prove its worth. A title often bilayered but equally powerful, fun and challenging.

8.5 / 10.0 - Dying Light

Dying Light is all we were promised: an innovative zombie game, which manages to stand out despite the physiological limits of the free-roaming genre and a certain saturation of the market.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 2 continues on the good path inaugurated by the first King; Birth, only in this case the jump is less evident: not so much for demerits of this remake, as for the big problems that afflicted the first chapter of the series.

7 / 10.0 - Never Alone
Dec 4, 2014

Never Alone is an interesting and deceptive experiment in edutainment, or whatever you want to call it, and as such it must be evaluated in all its parts: in the face of an often limping gameplay, the title of Upper One Games gives a touching and detailed overview of the culture and folklore of the iñupiat, serving it on a dish much more attractive to gamers. A production not free from defects, but undoubtedly to be rewarded for its noble intentions.
