A great work, of those seen once every generation.

8.5 / 10.0 - Desperados III
Jun 12, 2020

A proper sequel to the original Desperados, and a tried-and-true tactical puzzle from Mimimi, the new masters of the genre.

7.8 / 10.0 - Beyond Blue
Jun 11, 2020

Beyond Blue take us for a couple of hour in the deep of the ocean. More a documentary than a game, but perfect for who want a relaxing and fascinating experience.

7 / 10.0 - Disintegration
Jun 10, 2020

Disintegration is a unique experiment, that blends two different genres in an interesting way. You have to accept a few compromises, but both the campaign and the multiplayer modes offers lots of action with just enough depth.

8.8 / 10.0 - Valorant
Jun 6, 2020

Valorant is the almost perfect meeting point between Overwatch and CS: GO in Riot Games sauce. Competition, individual skills and co-op come together to create a title that is easy to understand but difficult to master. The definitive spark is missing, but the time to light it is there and Riot knows how to do it.

A wonderful remaster of two masterpieces. This remastered collection of Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert is a love letter to the classics that you need to play whether you are a veteran or a new gamer that wants to try a rejuvenated classic.

Aftermath is not a huge expansion, but every bit of content that comes with it is fitting perfectly with what the base game already had to offer.

A convenient opportunity to replay the whole saga where you want. Or, just in case, to find out what this BioShock is that everyone has been talking about for thirteen years, of course. Too bad for the not exciting graphic quality of the two remastered, especially the first one. In handheld mode, at least, you don't notice that much.

6.6 / 10.0 - Skelattack
Jun 2, 2020

Good art direction and funny dialogues are not enough to be an overall good experience, and Skelattack suffers too much from difficulty peakes and inaccurate controls. Worth if you are an action platformer fan, anyway.

Legends of Runeterra is one of the best card games on the market today thanks to the successful mix of accessibility and depth. There are some imperfections to fix, but the experience already is absolutely worth and addictive.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is a great JRPG, with a well told story, elemental gameplay and a dazzling world to explore. The massive epilogue, the excellent graphic upgrade and the lightening of some mechanics, make it a highly recommended game even for those who have already explored the original. If you know how to go beyond some hesitation in the pace and a video resolution not always up to date, you'll have in your hands a great JRPG.

7.9 / 10.0 - Monster Train
May 26, 2020

A nice deck-building game that capitalizes on the basic ideas seen in Slay the Spire and adds tower-defense to them, creating a unique mix.

It's funny, engaging and, at times, surprisingly challenging: Minecraft Dungeons only lacks a bit of depth in the end-game area, and we hope to see that added in the next months.

8 / 10.0 - Wildfire
May 25, 2020

A 2D stealth platformer that lets you glimpse, between some limits and many beautiful ideas, the charm of the indies.

8.5 / 10.0 - Maneater
May 22, 2020

Maneater palys safe. He chooses simple mechanics and proposes them in ad ten and more hours loop, but in doing so, however, it makes the right choice, because Maneater is a well crafted and fun title. Those who are not afraid to do the same thing over and over again to become the lord of the oceans will find flesh for their teeth.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered is the full SR:TT experience, remastered for the actual consoles. There's a lot to do and is fun but the weight of the years is felt.

A remastered old, single mission driven open world, with hi-res lights and textures on a basic fighting mechanic, helped by a well written mob story.

The Wonderful 101: Remastered is an exciting concentration of fun. The wonderful design, the roaring, noisy sound; everything shines and enchants, just like seven years ago. And yet, despite its solid playability and full of concepts, the camera often struggles to follow the action at its best, becoming a real nightmare in the tightest of spaces (always very short, luckily). The game is difficult to tame, and perhaps that sense of continuous unbalance you feel in controlling the heroes is an integral part of the playful framework. However, there remains a pinch of regret in finding that such smudges have not been filed down.
